"Today was fun." Yi Jung commented as he drove Ga Eul home. He turned to see Ga Eul lost in thought, staring out a window to the night sky, and wondered what she was thinking about. "Ga Eul yang."

The girl was pulled away from her distraction and she turned to look at Yi Jung. "Yes?"

"What are you thinking about?" Yi Jung asked cautiously since he didn't want to intrude on her thoughts.

Ga Eul stayed silent and Yi Jung figured, based on her expression, that she was debating whether to tell him or not. She finally relented. "I was just thinking about today's truth or dare game that we played at Jan Di's house."

"What about it?"

She bit her lip. "I wanted to ask a question too."

"Oh?" Yi Jung focused his attention on the road. "Really?"

"I wanted to ask one to you." She said finally. Yi Jung pulled over and looked at her intently.

"What did you want to ask?"

"You have to promise me that you will answer it."

"Hmm..alright."

"Yi Jung sunbae, truth or dare?" Ga Eul asked.

Yi Jung thought for a moment before responding, with Ga Eul, everything had to be thought out or else he may do something he regrets. "Truth."

"Yi Jung sunbae, why are you afraid of soulmates?"

The question came as a shock to him. "I can't say."

"Yi Jung sunbae, you chose truth so you have to answer."

He looked at her with frustration and directed it towards his windshield. He looked out through his windshield. "Ga Eul yang, in this lifetime, there are many people you meet. To think there is only one person for you seem so ridiculous. Let's just say you did meet your soulmate and you lived a happy life with that one special person. What would you do if he suddenly left you?"

"I wouldn't know what to do." Ga Eul said after a brief silence.

"Precisely, if that person left, life seems so pointless, nothing in the world would be able to alleviate the pain and you would just live life recklessly. Do you know how many people that would hurt especially the ones that love you? I think it is pathetic how one person can have so much effect on another that in the end that soulmate just takes complete control of one's life."

"I never thought about it that way before, sunbae." Ga Eul said quietly. "Did that happen to you?"

"You can't ask that, your question is over." Yi Jung tried to lighten the mood but deep down what he said made his heart constrict. He continued driving with silence and had reached Ga Eul's house.

"Thank you Yi Jung sunbae." She said as she opened the car door.

"Wait." Yi Jung called out to her. "It's my turn to ask you a question."

"Okay." She got back in and closed the door.

"You…what do you like about him anyways, he's nothing but a playboy who will break your heart." Yi Jung said.

"Anyeo," Ga Eul said, "the sunbae I know is different. Deep down he always thinks about other people and he's like a child. He like a kid who decides to wear his dad's clothes so that he will look grown up and be mature when he is actually just as vulnerable as a new born baby bird. The reason why he acts like a Casanova is just a shield because he fears soulmates…he thinks by having many women, it could be a cure to his fears…like medicine. I love how he is selfless - good night Yi Jung Sunbae!" She ran away from the car and into her house. She slammed the door to her house and tried to silence the loud beating of her heart. Did she say too much?

"She really does take this game seriously." Yi Jung laughed. He then reflected on what Ga Eul had said. "Medicine huh? Selfless eh?"

He smiled, with his dimples showing, and drove away from her house and out into the night.
