I Thought of You
Author's Notes: Ok, this is sad…I am such a nerd. I wrote a Shakespearean sonnet (14 lines, 10 syllables in every line, first and third lines have to rhyme on the last syllable, and the second and fourth lines rhyme too. The last two lines both rhyme as well. ) based on the episode on the first time Kagura tried to escape from Naraku when he wasn't there. Remember when she looked up in the sky, plotting what she was going to do with the two jewel shards she stole from Koga, and thought of Sesshomaru? Well, this is basically what this sonnet is based on. Anyways, I'll quit rambling now! Hope you guys enjoy it! ;-)
Lying on the tall and green grassy plain,
My eyes rose to the bright stars of the night.
The air was warm, bringing no sign of rain,
I could not think of a prettier sight.
But there in the night, shone something so bright,
That other stars left in the blink of an eye.
I couldn't help but stare into the white light,
For a figure appeared in the dark sky.
The wind blew gently, caressing my face,
Whispering a name I couldn't quite make.
Then out of the blue, I felt my heart race,
I feared for my heart-I feared it might break.
And all of these signs had given me a clue,
Because just like always, I thought of you.
