My Name's Elmo!
Naruto stared at the colors flashing across the TV screen. His favorite show in the world was on. Naruto laughed. Even though this show was a re-run of last week's episode, he still stayed glued to the floor, eyes wide as his little brain took in every second of the show. A grin spread across his face. This was his favorite part of the show. His voice sang along with the TV
"It's Elmo's world!" he cried, picking up his scruffy Elmo plush from the couch on which he was leaning against. He hugged the toy, still focusing on the puppet-thing Elmo on the TV screen. Suddenly, there was a flash of light and Elmo leaped out of the TV! Our orange-clad friend leaped back, drawing a kunai. Elmo looked up at him.
"My names Elmo! I want to be your friend!" It squeaked. Naruto looked at him funny for a moment before putting his kunai away.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I wanna become Hokage!" Naruto proclaimed, smiling. Elmo tilted its head.
"Hokage?" It asked.
"Yup! The leader of the village hidden in the leaves! The Ultimate Ninja!!!" He shouted. (Yes, I know it's a videogame, I own it!) Elmo still looked at him funny.
"Why do you want to be a ninja, ninjas hurt people?" He said, dumbfounded. (That's such a fun word…) Naruto sighed, motioning for Elmo to join him on the couch.
"Elmo, listen. I live in a world of ninjas. There's not much else I can do if I want to stay the main character in my TV show." He said bluntly. Elmo just looked at him, then at the random camera guy who had been constantly filming them. (His name was Alfred.) Elmo smiled, and then waved at the camera.
"Hello kids! My names Elmo! Today you should give somebody a hug!" He proclaimed, still smiling broadly. Naruto sighed.
"That's not right. This is a show about ninjas. You're on Naruto now, not Sesame Street." He said, making it seem as if it was painfully obvious to everyone but our little fluffy red friend. Elmo sighed, looking at his feet. (Since he isn't wearing shoes.) Naruto placed his arm around Elmo's shoulder.
"Here, watch me. Then you can try!" He said. Naruto stood up.
"I'm Naruto, And I'm gonna become the next Hokage! Believe it!" Naruto said, pumping his fist into the air.
"STOP SAYING BELIEVE IT!" Sasuke yelled from nowhere in particular, and multiple kunai and shuriken pinned naruto to the wall behind him.
A/N: stupid I know. I might write another chapter, but I don't know. I was going to make it one long chapter but I decided against that. Please Review!
