Author's Note: I don't own Fruits Basket. This is written for a request, for Rin x Yuki, from a fan of the Fruits Basket Manga Series page on Facebook. I really do need to get better at writing romantic fics xD
Yuki walked through the Sohma Estate, on his way out from an appointment with Hatori. On his way out, he noticed Isuzu. He was almost as emotionally confused about her, as he was about the curse. She was one of the quietest members of the family, with the others being Kisa, Kureno, Hatori, and himself. He hardly knew anything about her personal life besides the fact that she was the horse of the Zodiac, and had problems with her parents, much like many of the other cursed members. The only other thing he knew about her was that she was very beautiful.
Isuzu turned to face Yuki, and wondered why he was staring at her. She thought about confronting him, he had been one of Akito's favorites at one time, and he'd be easier to make break down than Shigure or Kureno. Isuzu sighed and decided against it, she really didn't want to make enemies with one of her crushes. She didn't want to hurt him, like she did to everyone else around her, so she did the same thing she always did -ran.
Isuzu turned away, with a slight blush on her face, and started walking away from where Yuki was still standing. Yuki decided to follow her, but ended up losing sight of her. He kept going in the same direction for awhile, and ended up catching up to Rin. He found her laying in the middle of the woods, unconscious. Yuki picked her up, as gently as possible, and began to carry her towards Hatori's house. He hoped that he wouldn't run into Akito, and that Rin wouldn't wake up while he was carrying her.
Yuki made it to Hatori's house with nothing bad happening. Before Yuki could make it to Hatori's door, Momiji was right behind him.
"What's wrong with Rin, Yuki?"
Yuki sighs, "I don't know...I found her like this."
Momiji frowns, and opens the door for Yuki and Rin. Momiji shut the door behind them, and ran to get Hatori.
Yuki set Rin down on the couch, and stood around waiting for Momiji to return with Hatori. Momiji came running into the room, followed by Hatori, who looked irritated. He was muttering something about how no one listens to him when he told them not to do something.
Hatori turns to face Yuki, "You can go now." Yuki continued to stand around awkwardly, and tried to come up with something to say.
Momiji smiled and started singing, "Yuki and Rin, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!" Hatori sighs, while Yuki's face turns bright red, "It's not like that!"
Hatori shakes his head and starts to examine Rin, while Momiji starts to laugh at Yuki's face. All of that's what Rin woke up to, and she ran out of Hatori's house, leaving everyone standing around shocked and in an awkward silence.
