1. The Chase

Author's Notes: The first part of this is KenTen, and next chapter will the the 58-version. Trust me, the 58-version is a lot better than this one...

Tenpou sat there with a small smile on his face. Everything was set in place; check, check, check, check. Now, all he needed was the last piece for this to all work. This was the most important part. This would all be in vain if this part were missing.

Knock Knock! came right on schedule. Kenren walked in through the door.

And his jaw dropped.

"Tenpou," Kenren said, picking his jaw off the floor. "What are you wearing?"

The gensui, already smiling, smiled wider. "Oh, nothing." he said plainly. And 'Oh, nothing,' was pretty accurate, anyway. Nothing but underwear.

Kenren grinned. "And the chase is on!" he called out, chasing the nearly-naked field marshal around the room before catching him, throwing him on the bed, and making love to him as a reward.

Tenpou smiled. "Next time, it'll be your turn to surprise me."
