Cody: Dad! You can't go! You got to go to the F-Zero Finals!

Capt. Falcon: I'm sorry, son, but I can't let Scale Head get away again. We need the money!

Cody: But Dad! You were going to take me to the race today! You promised!

Capt. Falcon: Listen, son! Bounty hunting's more important than racing! Now go to your room!

Cody: I thought you loved racing! (Runs upstairs.)

Capt. Falcon: (Thinking.) What have I done? I just made my son feel upset!

In Cody's room…

Cody: I wanted to see my dad race. I guess not. Well, if he's not getting the trophy, I am!

Do you know what Cody is talking about? He's going to race, just to replace Capt. Falcon! Not cool!
