Goodbye Hyde
Herro people, because of my horrible grammar and plot holes (sorry 'bout that) I have decided to rewrite or correct more like the first chapter I will try to continue the story but it's been so long I forgot my original intensions so sorry. I'll try to update at least once every week but because of school and such sorry if I miss a week or two. Now without further ado here is chapter 1 edited!
Chapter 1
"Edio quit being so naïve."Hyde scolded
"How could you say about your own partner?"Edio said sarcastically. Hyde sighed. "Besides what did I even do?" Edio asked. "You were being you." Hyde replied
"Hey isn't that Zatch over there?"Edio said pointing down from their position in the sky.
"I think it is." Hyde said "Hey Zatch!" he yelled as he landed and ran towards him.
"I want a remat….uh."He stopped dead in his tracks as the boy turned around Hyde realized it was not Zatch.
"Don't you ever mistake me for that poor excuse of a mamodo," Zeno scolded "if you do I swear there will be a lot more at stake then you losing the battle."
"Hyde c'mon we can take this guy."Edio whispered to Hyde, Hyde turned to him with a terrified look on his face.
"Zeno," he said softly "lightning emperor."
"Huh" Edio was obviously confused.
"Idiot don't you understand." Edio had an idle expression on his face.
"If we can't defeat Zatch there's no way we can defeat Zeno!"
"Look, if we don't at least try we won't know your true strength." Hyde shook his head. "Please." Edio whined. Hyde crossed his arms."There's no way we can beat this guy."He muttered. Growing impatient and wanting to battle, Edio had to do something drastic.
"C'mon c'mon please!" Edio was on his knees begging, "At least try!" They both heard Zeno and Dufort laughing no doubt from his partner's stupidity. "Edio, we're not strong enough yet, we can challenge them when we are stronger."Hyde finally gave in. Edio stood up and clapped his hands
"Okay, let's go train." Edio pointed to Zeno and his partner Dufort "You haven't seen the last of us." He said
Zeno and Dufort left chuckling and shaking their heads in pity.
"We'll show 'em." Edio said
"Yeah,"
"We will get stronger."
"Right, let's go." Hyde said
"Right,"
"Jikir!" Edio casted the first spell and they flew through the air to search for mamodo.
"Kiyo," Zatch said
"Hmm?"
"What kind of mamodo do you think we'll fight next?"
"I don't know Zatch."
"Oh, by the way, do you know what happened to that Hyde guy?"
"That mamodo that controlled the wind,"
Zatch nodded
"I don't know they disappeared after our battle."
"Hey look its Zatch and Kiyo." Hyde said noticing them walking home from school.
"We can ask them to train with us." Edio said
Hyde nodded
"Hey Zatch," Hyde yelled "Wanna train with us?"
Zatch turned around
"Speak of the Devil." Kiyo said to no one in particular.
"Kiyo can we do it huh can we train with Hyde and Edio?"
"But why?" Kiyo asked Hyde and Edio
"Well," Edio said scratching the back of his neck "We ran into Zeno and his partner," He explained "and we said if we got stronger then we would fight them later on cause Hyde wouldn't let us fight 'em now."
"I said we weren't ready yet."
"We could have taken 'em'
"No we couldn't have."
"Okay, yeah we'll train with you." Kiyo said not wanting their pointless argument to carry on.
"And you try your best to defeat Zeno." Zatch added
"Right, thanks Zatch and Kiyo." Hyde said
