Hey guys! I've been in the Last Airbender fandom for years, but just didn't post a story. Then this idea came to me one day and I decided to type it out. I hope you enjoy.

I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender. I wish I did, but I don't.

"How do they keep finding us?!" Sokka screamed as he unsheathed his space sword.

The main four of Team Avatar decided to have a small break and hang out at a small lake, leaving Zuko and Suki to take care of the camp with Appa and Momo. Then, out of nowhere Azula and some Fire Nation Troops came and started to attack them.

"Less talking, more fighting!" Toph shouted at the non-bender of the group as she threw a rock at a few troops.

Azula watched from behind her short number of Fire Nation Troops. Normally she would be fighting her enemies in front of her troops, but she wanted to find a way to weaken them for a period of time so her Father can have more time for their plan.

Her skilled eye scanned the Team of four, her eyes landing on the waterbender of the group. She believes the girl's name was Katara.

The waterbender was using the lake as a source of water to take out any troops that got too close. With closer inspection Azula noticed that one of Katara's feet were in the crystal-clear water.

A deadly smirk played across the Princess' face, blue lightening crackled at Azula's fingertips. In one quick movement, she fired it directly into the lake. Her smirk turned into a sadistic grin as Katara screamed in pain, blue lightening flicking across her body.

The waterbender fell on her stomach away from the lake, eye closed.

"KATARA!" the other three members of Team Avatar yelled and started to quickly cross the short distance between them and the waterbender. Aang's eyes flickered between a glowing whiteish-light blue and their normal stormy grey. The Aang and Toph kept away the Fire Nation Troops as Sokka tried to wake up his younger sister.

"Come on, Katara. Wake up" he pleaded to his unconscious sister. He pulled her into his lap and gently shook her shoulder.

"Did you know that water conduces lightening?" Azula calmly walked through her troops to the front. "Your waterbender must have been touching the water when my stray bolt hit it" the Princess nonchalantly shrugged. "Oops"

She could hear all of them growl in anger at her.

"We have to get Katara somewhere safe!" Toph told the boys the obvious as she shoved three soldiers away with a boulder.

"I'll make some cover!" Aang started to use waterbending to create fog around them. When it cleared away the small team of four was gone.

"Should we search for them, Princess?" a soldier asked.

"No, we did what we came here for?" Azula turned away from the lake and slowly walked back to her blimp. "We're going back to the Palace"

"As you command, Princess"
