While on its way back to New York, across the North Atlantic Ocean, Flight 8251 hit some minor turbulence. That minor turbulence turned into major turbulence that rocked the plane and was the start of the end.
Flight 8251 crashed into the Atlantic, partly cushioned by a small island that seemed to come out of the middle of nowhere. Passengers were thrown from the plane, some landing in the thick jungle area, other in the ocean and most on the beach; the plane having landed only a few miles down the island. With seemingly no chance of being rescued, the survivors buckle down and start using their resources.
Little do they know that they aren't the only ones stuck on the island. Once the sight of a large genetic experiment facility, the island holds the remnants of the genetic mutants created by scientist. Unprotected from the experiments themselves, the scientist succumbed to painful deaths when the experiments suddenly began thinking for themselves and would no longer be the submissive species.
The experiments varied largely. Anything from rat dogs, with longs skeletons and sharp teeth to misquote birds that sucked your blood dry. The scientist even went as far as experimenting on human embryos, mixing animal DNA with their own to create grotesque and vile creatures.
Now the islanders must find a way to survive and stay alive as well as battle the mutants.
