Daffodils 3
Zuko looked longingly at the picture of his mother that he always kept with him. Every day he thought about her and ever night he looked at the photo and wished she was there with him, tucking him in, telling him that she loved him. Just like she always use to. It was that night when he had been thinking of his mother and Katara at the same time that he had noticed the similarity; they both loved daffodils.
Ursa had always loved daffodils and she had always gotten them from her husband. If there was one thing that Ozai had taught Zuko that was good it was that girls loved getting their favourite flowers from guys. It had certainly been the case for his mother and now it was the case with Katara.
Ever since he had made the connection, every time he thought of one of the women he ended up thinking about the other as well.
Now Zuko loved daffodils just like Katara and Ursa.
Random little snippet that is linked to Daffodils and Daffodils 2... very vaguely. They really have nothing to do with each other, other than they are about chicks and flowers. Lol :)
