I have no idea how this might turn out so be warned.

A few petals from the Peach Tree whisked into the palace and gently caressed the waters but one of them managed to land right on top of an orange nose. Tigress winced in irritation and quickly wiped the vexing annoyance off her face. She had come here to meditate in hopes of receiving some guidance but things always seemed to keep bothering her. The remaining leaflet hovered just above the surface before touching down and adding to the array of petals that Shifu had sprinkled in earlier. In remembrance of Oogway, he had taken upon him the legacy of the old turtle. Every morning, the grandmaster would take petals from the Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom and scatter them into the Moon Pool. Shifu never knew why he did this but it gave him peace of mind to carry on the tradition.

It is said that the pool is able to provide answers to the most difficult of questions. Unfortunately for tiger, however, her problems weren't getting any better and meditation proved difficult with the warzone that was her psyche. Her heart was telling her just to accept reality while her mind was critical, she was a warrior and did not have time to deal with such emotions. Po, who had happened to join Tigress, would've never known that two factions quietly waged war next to him. Unfortunately, their encounter with Shen had left her with a lot of 'issues', but she would never let anyone know about that. Her pride would simply not allow it.

The panda had tagged along for some meditation, or so it seemed. When he heard that his friend was going to meditate Po sprung at the opportunity to come, he didn't want to miss his chance after all. This was the only time he'd managed to catch Tigress alone in awhile without the constant interruptions that seemed to plague them.

Po felt his heart nearly at his throat as he wrung his hands together. Just thinking that what he was about to do could completely ruin their friendship was enough to give him butterflies in his stomach.

Come on, you're the Dragon Warrior. Just do it already!

"Hey Tigress..."

"Hmmm?" She opened an eye to look at him.

"Were friends right?"

"Indeed."

"And friends are supposed to get to know each other better right?"

"I suppose so."

"Well, I was gonna head down to the Valley and try out this new restuarant that opened up with Monkey and Mantis but they don't feel good. So I was thinking, you wanna come? Just to like, you know, hang out?"

"Sure."

"Really?"

"Mhm."

"Okay, I was thinking a few hours from now, at noon?"

"Is anyone else coming?"

"No, um, it was just going to be the two of us."

"That doesn't really sound like hanging out Po."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, it sounds like you're asking me out on a date."

"Pffft, no...uh not that I wouldn't though! I mean...you like spicy food?"

Tigress got up from where she was sitting. "I wouldn't mind it."

"Hey where are you going? I thought you had to meditate."

Tigress let a subtle smile form on her lips. "Not anymore. See you at noon, Dragon Warrior."
