The gold and black Space Pirate feel down to the ground with a thud, joining the rest of the bodies that had fallen before him. Samus took a few extra shots to the already fallen body, gritting her teeth while she pulled the trigger. It wasn't because they had become more difficult to kill that had enraged her so... it was because they were using Chozo technology; the only thing left behind by her now extinct 'family'.
Looking around her... from the fallen Space Pirates, to the crumbling and war-torn walls of the only kin she knew of, it made her furious that these rogues, these desecrators, dare use the one thing that remains of Chozo, perverting it to their own selfish desires. The more she thought about it, the more lost in her rage she became, taking another pot shot at the already unrecognizable Pirate.
She stepped back from the object of her wrath and took a deep breath. It was not wise to allow herself to be controlled by her emotions. As one raised by the Chozo, and as a bounty hunter, such a thing is quite disgraceful. She took a moment to check her ammo and life support systems, and gain her composure. Though she could no longer protect the Chozo in life, she could at least protect they're legacy, and to do that she had to continue her mission with a clear mind.
She sharply turned on her feet, and in one swift movement she turned around and took out a Space Pirate that had tried to sneak up on her in her moment of contemplation, smirking as she watch it fall. Of course... even though she had to control her emotions, didn't mean she couldn't enjoy her work.
