Memories

"You know, you have beautiful eyes."
Kagura stopped smiling, a little stunned by the randomness.
"I've never seen such grey eyes before…especially when there's a hint of honey in them."
Kagura looked at Saiga who was actually looking at her. He was leaning back, the flowers brushing against his hand.
She lifted her arms, ready to take a picture.
"They're beautiful…" Saiga murmured.
She stopped for a moment.
"…but you can't…"
She didn't finish it. She couldn't. It was too hard for her to say it and she didn't want to seem heartless.
Saiga smiled.
"Yes I can."
She was confused and put down the camera, "How?"
"Do you really want to know?"
There was a challenge in that voice and it sent something in Kagura's body. Something chilling and excitement but she did not respond.
"You also smile like the sun is always out even when it's pouring."
Saiga had a small smile, one where no one could take it away from him. Kagura could only stare at him, amazed that he could look so manly with flowers surrounding him and how tender those words were rolling off his tongue.
"Then your hair, it cascades down like a chocolate waterfall."
She blushed, holding on tightly to the camera. "Thank you Saiga."
And it got quiet.
"Ho-how do you know all this?"
"Hmm… know what?"
Saiga looked content, like he was at peace and she wanted that with him. She crawled towards him, sitting next to him.
"What you were saying."
Saiga turned his head towards her, sensing where she was. "About you?"
"Yes." Kagura said lowly.
Her heart was pounding hard and it wasn't helping when she smelt his musky cologne with the slightest hint of film camera powder. It also wasn't helping when he leaned down, brushing his lip against her cheek, slowly making his way to her ear.
It took a while for Saiga to respond but when he did, it held something special to him that Kagura could only sit and fall more in love, "Memories."
