It was closing in on 2 in the morning. Where was he? Had he gotten lost? Had he just plain forgotten? Or worse, had he been caught? "No that can't be," he said out loud, unintentionally. He wouldn't have forgetten about Harry. As for getting lost, it wasn't impossible, but incredibly unlikely. What worried him the most was the possibility of his late night guest of getting caught on the way to the Burrow. The floo network was being watched very closely, especially over members of the Ministry of Magic's employee's residences. Harry started to get anxious. "There's nothing to worry about, he hasn't done anything wrong, there would be no reason to arrest him. Unless...no, that's not possible." Harry thought to himself.

Ron and Hermione were both sitting on the couch across from Harry. They seemed so engrossed in their own thoughts on this possibility that they hadn't seemed to notice Harry had spoken. A few moments later, Ron piped up, "what do you suppose happened? It's almost 2, and he was supposed to be here an hour ago..." His voice trailed off. Harry shrugged, and shared a nervous look with Ron. Hermione still hadn't said anything.

Suddenly, the fire turned green and a head appeared among the flames.

"Professor!" all three of them said in unison, jumping on the floor to get a better look and to talk to Remus Lupin. They still referred to him as "professor," despite the fact of him not teaching anymore.

"My apologies for the delay, I got sidetracked. You see, Hagrid came to call just as I was about to leave, I couldn't get away. He's got some troubles of his own, you see." Harry replied with, "That's fine professor, but what's the matter with Hagrid?" "Well, I'm sure he'll like to tell you himself, but right now we've got to get out of here."

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had already left, as according to plan. They were already at Grimmauld Place, to help ensure a safe arrival for the others. Harry was to come next, Then the rest of the Weasleys would follow them in small groups. It seems as though it would be easy for everyone to go at once, but The Burrow was in a "Death Eater Watch Zone," they didn't want to be obvious about it. So far nothing had happened, but they wanted to be sure. Thus, they decided it would be best to go to Grimmauld Place for a while.

The unusual part about Grimmauld Place was, Mr. and Mrs. Dursley and Dudley had agreed to hide out there, for their own protection. They weren't happy about it in the least bit, and that's an understatement.
