He Took my hand and threw me to the ground.

I lay there, frozen and submissive. he drew nearer..

step by step. I held my breath.

maybe he'd think I was dead.. maybe he'd stop.

No, that wouldn't be enough.. he must watch me suffer.

I've suffered through my life because of him.

It's not over. he wont let it be over.

With light came a new day. A new day brought new hope. for most people anyways.

I awoke in my bed. "morning..." I engulfed my face in my pillow. my eyes caught the red stains right away. Hurriedly I took the sheets off my bed, and put them in a corner of my closet. Dizziness swept my body, as I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

"Sakura, sweetie. are you awake?" I panicked. She can't see my body like this!

"One minute!" I called, trying to stay calm.

I wrapped a blanket around myself and opened the door.

"Ino's at the door. I suggest you answer it. She's not one to wait patiently." with that my mother left the room.

"Ohayo.. Ino." my voice cracked.

"Sakura..."

I looked away. She could tell. She was my best friend after all...

She wrapped her arms around me "Everything will be okay Sakura! Tell me who's been hurting you.. I'll get hel.."

I cut her off.

"NO! YOU CAN'T!" I pushed her off me.

"Sakur-"

I ran past her. Ignoring whatever she yelled at me.

"She doesn't know... She doesn't know the consequences!"

I sat on the rivers edge, staring into own reflection.

The autumn leaves danced endlessly to a silent beat.

The wind blew my hair, the pink strands seemed to have a life of their own.

I looked again at myself.

"Two eyes..." I thought "Two hands..."

I touched my reflection... "But half a heart"

The wind that night, was different. Screaming.. could be the definition.

I was cold and hungry.. I decided to stay on the river bank. Going home would be admitting to what he did. What I did... Unable.. To hurt him..

"Sasuke..." I thought.

"Sasuke what have you become..?"
