I don't own Sailor Moon but it was my very first anime so this is a tribute.
Soldiers of the Moon
Soldiers in sailor uniforms bring justice, peace and love,
As they shine like starts up above,
Three stars shoot across the sky,
Healer, Fighter, and Maker, the homeless stars that wander up high,
The planets lend their strength to the moon,
As her love for a masked man blooms,
She flunks math and fails P.E.,
And she's somewhat of a crybaby,
Another life, another time,
A neon queen whose touch was sublime,
A mother though she was still a child,
A circus lip up by the darkness of the moon with animals so wild,
Their relationships are anything but platonic,
And their enemies are nothing short of demonic,
A little girl dreams of a Pegasus,
As their soldiers remember their painful exodus,
A kingdom dead, a love reborn,
As crystals glimmer faintly as the fabric of time and space is torn,
Young girls but so worn,
Stripped of everything but their innocence and purity,
Angel wings grace their backs but their shown to be human by their blood and nudity,
Dubbed, subbed, and sunk,
Like a new born baptized dunked,
I watch their adventures but they don't know,
They are claimed by many but their essence can't be owned,
For they live in all the souls,
Of little girls that reach for the stars,
Uranus, Neptune, Venus, Pluto, and Mars,
Let your light shine near and far.
