Aslan's Own Country
Once when gazing out at sunset I was sure that I could see
Far off in the distance Mountains cool and green.
With tops reaching much higher Than my straining eyes could see
There I knew with out a doubt twas Aslan's own country.
For in that perfect moment That took my breath away
Just before the veil fell again I heard music play.
Then the tears sprang to my eyes For I knew that this must be
The sweetest songs so often heard In Aslan's own country.
But though the vision has faded now And darkness hides the view
Deep within my heart I know The great lion's words are true.
For when I come to this world's end I know that I shall be
There amongst those hill at last In Aslan's own country.
