Lesson One: Control your emotions

Kyp Durron: (walking up behind Jaina as she leans over her x-wing) Where do you think you're going?

Jaina Solo (standing up from her x-wing but not looking at him): That's none of your buisness.

Kyp: (turning Jaina around to look at him): It is the buisness of the council where the Jedi go and I am on the council.

Jaina (trying to shrug his hand off her shoulder): Let go Durron.

Kyp: (letting go of her shoulder): You need to control your anger it only leads to the dark side.

Jaina (glaring at him): Go take your advice and tell it to someone who cares.

Kyp: I will tell my advice to those I think need it.

Jaina: (using the Force to pull her lightsaber into her hand) I'm warning you Durron.

Kyp: (uses the Force to bring her lightsaber to his hand) You know you can't win so why try? What are you hoping to prove?

Jaina (calling Kyp's lightsaber to her hand and igniting it) To prove I am nothing like you! To control my destiny for once instead of living by what others demand of me. I'm sick of being used by the council and you! (Charges at Kyp lightsaber held above her head as she blindly runs at him)

Kyp (grabs her lightsaber weilding hand with one of his and her throat with his other but not hurting her) Your anger blinds you my very young apprentice.

Jaina (pries herself free from his grip glaring at him while rubbing her neck) Your pride blinds you Durron and I'm not your apprentice. (lunges at Kyp while sending some crates at him with the force)

Kyp (sends the crates flying into a wall with a flick of his hand before using his lightsaber to block Jaina's) You have much too learn about being a Jedi.

Jaina (glaring) You have much to learn about Solos. (She Force kicks him causing his lightsaber to go flying across the room) And much to learn about me. (She backflips and grabs his lightsaber as she lands igniting the blade) I've won

Kyp (getting up slowly) Your faith in your strength is your weakness Jaina. (He pulls the lightsaber back into his hand) You still have much to learn. Anger is of the dark side and the dark side is something Anakin was against. If you want to disgrace Anakin then go ahead and be a sith. (He turns to leave only to be stopped by Jaina throught the Force)

Jaina (glaring at Kyp while putting her lightsaber away) I hate it when you do that.

Kyp (smirks) I know. You need to work on your anger and until then you're grounded.

Jaina: (glares) You aren't my father.

Kyp: No but I am on the council and I find that until you can act like a real Jedi you are not to leave the temple. Understood?

Jaina (glares): Yes Master Durron.
