a/n: A one shot that popped up after watching cirque du solei*. hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own hetalia and I only mentioned the circus because it was my inspiration!
The people watched in awe the petite figure in front of them.
The dim spotlight iluminated the small figure, revealing the pale face, and its fair skin. The face was framed by a gentle cascade of black, silky untangled hair.
It was impossible to distinguish the gender of this fragile creature, since it was too beautious to be called a man, and at the same time, inside every movement, there was a shadow of a fierce tiger, reflecting power.
The expression of the crowd was torn between amaze and horror, when the figure's torso bent in an impossible angle for a human.
But for the crowd, this creature was no longer human. They were mesmerized by it's enchant.
A dragon. Yes, a dragon, the only creature in earth that holds beauty and power at the same time.
At the rythm of the background music, this dragon twirled and danced, twitched and bent himself. The soft clothing that was wearing this little dragon, made things seem more realistic. The long, blood coloured, free flowing robe that was wearing this creature, danced with its owner. The golden ornament on it sparkled and twinkled every time when the dim light flashed upon this dragon.
The decorative golden lotus that was stamped on the crimson robe, started to go with the flow of the dress, and looked as if it was alive.
The tempo of the music started to go faster, and the dragon started to spin, and the long robe started following him. The head, and its tail.
The crowd was paralized. Breathtaken. There was no mistake. The show of this little dragon was reaching the climax.
Soon, the music will stop, and the dragon will stop the dance, and the magic will be to million pieces.
But, when the music abruptly halted, nobody dared to move. There was a long, uninterupted silence among the crowd.
It's the end.
The little creature looked like a human again. But, the eye of the figure, still hold the giant, impenetrable wall of wisdom. Magic and determinacy of a dragon.
The golden eye of the dragon did its trick again.
Then, suddenly somebody started to clap.
There were roars of cheer, and tumults between the crowd. Those claps resonated through the whole tent of the circus.
And then, the little human smiled. The long robe that assimilated the body of the dragon was now, lifeless, and the petite human's hair was loose, like a black stream, that ran through the pale face and reached past the shoulders of the beautious human.
The show ended, and the people started to get out of the tent.
No doubt about it. These people will come back to the next show. they always did.
Secretly, the manager of the circus, an emerald eyed man, silently smirked, behind the curtains.
All thanks to him. That's how this show got such a profit, at every show. Thanks to the chinese inmigrant that doesn't know how to speak english. Thanks to the blissfully ignorant petite figure. And, thanks to the beauty of this little dragon.
This show has to go on, no matter what. And he would use all the methods to make this chinese man stay performing, only to see the petite man smile again.
Hope you enjoyed!
I can never imagine how a trapecist or a dancer can bent himself/herself nearly in an impossible angle... It's so amazing!
That inspired me to write this short one-shot... xD
Guess who was the emerald-eyed manager! xD I really love this pairing, but I don't know why Arthur sounds so... Bad? at the end... Anyways! Hope you enjoyed!
The italics are the thoughts of Arthur!
