Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters. Even though I wish
I did...
Author Note: Inu-kubo means dog-prince. And later in the poem when it says,
"...who will win this soul's most precious thing..." the thing is Inuyasha's
heart. So I hope that will clear things up a little.
Summary: A poem from Kagome's point of view about the fight that will leave
only one Miko standing, and the prize is Inuyasha's heart.

My Inu-Kubo where have you gone?
Have you gotten lost in the void that
Is your past?
Have you found your way to
where the lost demons roam?
She's here.
The thunder cries out,
The evil has come.
It rains,
The gods must be crying.
I stare out my window,
Waiting to see who will win you or me?
Miko vs. Miko, who will win
This soul's most precious thing.
Time stops, Death holds it's breath.
The time has come when the fight has begun.
We fight for so many different things.
I fight for love, She fights for revenge.
Equal in strength, but not in soul.
Kikyo began to out do me.
She fired her arrow of hatred,
Only to hit the one she once loved.
He took the hit, knowing the pain,
But he did it for the one he really loved.
My heart seemed to feel his pain.
With new strength, I vanquished the evil.
But he was dieing.
The time sped up; Death unleashed its breath,
And Inuyasha left me.
