Author's Notes: I think I've already made it clear that Numb3rs doesn't belong to me, unless you are counting my DVD's of seasons 1-4! Anyway, I had this little plot bunny bite me in the butt while I was at a Water Park this weekend. I'm no cover girl, but dang some people need to cover up a little more. You might be comfortable with your body, but I'm not! I've seen more anatomy than a $20 hooker! Sorry, I digress. While seeing lots of people, this conversation came to me.

I've tweaked the seasons a little. This is set late in season two and I'm putting Megan and Larry as just dating.

"You are kidding me Granger!"

"No, I never have." The junior agent looked somewhat embarrassed as he was grilled by Megan. He had started in this office only several weeks ago and while he was usually very open about things, this topic was a little private for him.

A routine stake-out had resulted in the two agents sharing a car for the last five hours. After covering a wide array of topics, Megan had turned to more personal questions.

"I would have thought a guy like you would have had at least one. After all, I bet all you small town guys get to the big city and get yourself hooked up."

"No. I don't know how I would explain things to my Mom if I had."

"But you were in the Army. I thought everyone in uniform did it. I would have though you would have felt the pressure to conform."

"You think I'm not the type of guy that can say no."

"I'm just saying that I thought you would have picked a pretty girl with big hooters."

"It's not my style." Colby was glad for the dim interior of the car because it kept Megan from seeing his blush.

"Ok, so you dance to the beat of a different drummer, so to speak."

"Don't put it that way. I've just never felt that I needed to do it and I haven't felt comfortable with someone touching me that way."

"How about if you do it with me?" Megan looked at her partner. "I'd help you and I think you'd really like it once you've done it."

"You've done it?" Colby was a little shocked.

"Yes. Once in college and then with Larry."

"Larry! No way!" Colby couldn't wrap his mind around the image of Megan and Larry in engaging in that activity.

"Yes, he's wilder than I ever would have imagined." She placed her hand on Colby's upper arm. "I think you wouldn't regret it."

"And if I did I wouldn't be able to take it back."

"Well, you could start with something that wouldn't be such a big commitment."

"What would that be?"

"A temporary one. My friend's daughter had them at a birthday party, Little Mermaid and all of the Disney Princesses. You put them on with water and they stay on several days."

"Megan, if I were getting a tattoo, a mermaid is my last choice."
