I was out for a walk through the scenic paths of Lumbridge when I came across an elderly woman named Xenia. She was in dire need of help and I was in the mood for adventure. I agreed to accompany her into the dark caverns of the catacomb not knowing what I was getting myself into.
As we entered the catacomb we overhear a conversation. Xenia and I hid around the corner so that we could hear; we herd four voices. Three of the voices were arguing over a blood pact and the final voice was that of a distressed woman asking to be freed. We herd the voices trail off.
Xenia told me that she would hang behind me while we moved through the catacomb. She was getting older and was unable to fight. She would be my guide and help me by giving me advice when taking on the three villains in the blood pact as well as heal me if I acquired any wounds while in battle.
As we peaked around the first corner we saw the first of the three in the blood pact. He was a ranger and Xenia recognized him as Kayle. Xenia's advice to me was to circle around the room and attack him from the side. I used the columns in the room as cover and attacked from his right side with a powerful blow. The element of surprise helped me to defeat Kayle with 4 blows. I questioned him before finishing him off and taking his sling shot.
Moving to the second room we see a woman, Caitlyn, who is trained in magic. Xenia advises me to use the range weapon I just picked up from defeating Kayle. I used the sling as well as some pebbles that were on the ground to finish off her remaining 20 life points. After questioning her I decided that there is no more use for her so I finished her off with one final fatal blow. After killing Caitlyn, Xenia suggested that I take her magic staff, which it could come in handy when facing the final member of the blood pact.
At this point I had taken some blows from the first two battles so I asked Xenia to replenish my health. She did so with her healing hands.
We went down a set of stairs to the room where the members of the blood pact were holding the girl that we heard captive. The final member of the blood pact to be defeated was Reese. He was the leader of the blood pact and the most powerful of the three. Xenia recommended that I used the magic staff that I had just picked up to defeat the mele attack of Reese. I used the wind attack spell to defeat Reese without breaking a sweat.
After defeating Reese I ran over and untied Ilona who was huddled in the corner. The blood pact group was finally defeated. Ilona and Xenia gave me there thanks as we walked out of the catacomb and back to the graveyard and Lumbridge.
