Midnight caller.
By RavenRain.
Summery: Elizabeth has a few visitors at night. This is after the film and before the wedding.
A/N: Written spare of the moment in ten minutes.
I climb up to the balcony with ease. I had done this a few times before so I know where to step and where to hold on to. I hear a mumbled moan and a soft thump on the floor.
As I climb up I gently open the balcony door and see something that I will never forget. The image of them together is seared into my mind forever. I'm frozen in shock as my heart is severed in two. I could barely breath. In my head I was shouting for them to stop but no words could pass by the lump formed in my throat.
I watch as Elizabeth throws her head back in pleasure and moans in delight. Her lover thrusts in and out, licking her neck. He nibbles his way down her neck, along her collarbone supporting his body with his left arm. The fingers of his right hand skim down her sides and curl around her breast.
The bed sheet is loosly drapped over his waist giving me a clear view of their upper bodies. Elizabeths left arm is gliding along his ribs and clutching at his back. The fingers of her right hand seem to be digging into her lovers back leaving little marks as she scratchs the length of his back in her movements of pleasure.
I see them climax, almost at the same time, with each others names on their lips. Someone whispers 'I love you' but I'm not sure which one of them it is. I don't really care either. I stumble back suddenly regaining movements in my limbs. They both turn their heads towards me with matching looks of horror on their faces.
A salty taste enters my mouth and I finally realise I had been crying. I begin to climb back down loosing my footing as I go. I jump the rest of the way when I hear the ruffling of blankets and hear them stumble towards the balcony. I run down the driveway never looking back. As I turn the corner I hear Elizabeth call my name. It used to sound like a song from her lips but now it's like a dagger to my heart. 'Will!' I will never be able to look at Elizabeth or Jack with kindness again.
