Sayonara
Dragon's Clan: *blinks* Man, I never knew that I'll be able to write this. Although I watch some of the episodes of X/1999, I've sort of gotten a gist of it. So I hope its up to some of the expectations for the fans of S/K out there. Here's the disclaimer, I do not own X/1999, they belong to CLAMP. Also, um there is a slight hint of Subaru/Seishiro if you can find out where, but this could be like a Subaru/Kamui or a one-sided Subaru/Kamui, depending on your view of this.
Kamui stare at the broken man in front of him, and smile sadly. Today is the Promised Day, and he is ready to say his goodbyes to everyone he met, including the unresponsive man in front of him. Well, I guess this is goodbye. His left hand clenched the Holy Sword, the right hand trembled. Memories of their smiles, their happiness, their sadness, if anything, he would wish he can take all their pain and endure it forever, enough for them to smile once again. However, he is Kamui, and he would like for the Earth and mankind to stay. Prophecy or not, Earth itself, cannot survive without humanity. Taking in a deep breath of air, he calm down his nerves, bent down and reach for the man's hand.
"Subaru..." No response, and this saddened him. Turmoil of emotions swirl in him.
"Subaru, if you can hear me. Today is the day of the Promised Day. There are so many things I want to talk with you, so many memories you and I could've made with the others." Kamui smile bitterly, and his own heart twisted. Why is it so hard to say goodbye?
"Then again, Fate, itself has its own plans." Silence, it seems talking to a wall would be easier than talking to a person who put himself in a self-induced coma. Never than less, Kamui swallowed down the sadness that welled in him, his hand gently and tightly clenched Subaru's. He leaned in to Subaru's face and hesitated. No, it's not right! Then again, this is probably the last chance that I'll see him. Kamui lean in to give Subaru a chaste kiss on his lips, staying there for a few minutes before pulling away, smiling sadly once again.
"I guess, I really do like you. My only regret, is leaving everyone behind making everyone sad, and especially you in pain." Letting go, Kamui stood up and move away from Subaru a bit, before bowing at him.
"Thank you, for saving me, helping me, and being there when I needed." Again, nothing. It's really like talking to a wall, with no one there, but at least, talking to a wall is less painful than this. Kamui straightened up.
"Sayonara, Subaru. I can only hope that you'll find your own happiness someday, even after he and I left you alone." Then Kamui walked out of the room, sadly yet determined to fight for the Earth and Humanity on his last battle. In the room where Subaru is kept in, a few drops of tears slid out of both eyes.
"Ka..mu...i."
Dragon's Clan: Read and Review. Er yeah, the surprise I said earlier on Deviantart, is nearly finished. It might take another week for it to get it done.
