Chapter 1: My Thoughts and Memories…
It was the end of the day and I was standing on one of the many balconies in my home of Mirkwood. An exhausting day it had been. In the early morning I woke to discover that orcs were wreaking havoc a mile away and were heading closer to our northern borders. Hearing this I rode out to help my fellow wood-elves. If it had not of been for a number of my companions I would have been dead. But such things did not matter to me ever since my love had left. It was about six months he had been gone and everyday I felt as if I would never see him again. When the warriors defeated the spiders we traveled back to the kingdom for a celebration to honor the elves that defeated the wicked creatures. I did not attend; I walked up to my favorite balcony and thought about everything that happened.
I thought about the time when I felt so hurt I felt I was on the verge of dying. I felt that way until about a month ago when I rode to speak to Lady Galadriel, my mother to aid my heart of its sorrow. When I arrived in my previous home of Lothlorien I spoke to her about the many things filling my life and mind with doubt. She told me not to despair for my love was alive and was well. I rejoiced when I heard those words and soon I left my mother and father's side to be with the people of Mirkwood again to wait for him.
Thranduil who missed his son just as much as I did told me that I should always believe that he will come back and never have any doubt that he won't. I took his advice but I will never be in good spirits until he returns. Then I thought about when I first met him……….

A/N *snore* well I don't know about you but I thought that was a kinda short and dare I say it boring chapter but I can assure you it gets better*cough* I hope *cough* Oh and do not fear for my stories will be much MUCH longer!
