When Fitz kissed her that morning Mellie could feel that Fitz had already seen Olivia last night. Ever since he was assassinated things between them has been different even when she was pregnant, carrying a child fearing a miscarriage but Mellie had to bid her time on something that would not upset her with all the chaos.
"Mellie" said Olivia as she laid next to her while her hands interlaced with hers.
In a euphoric trance as Mellie tries to remembers the events of last night hardly remembers how it started. But now its morning and Olivia had to leave.
"Awww do you have to leave now?" said Mellie in a sad voice still in bed looking on to see Liv already dressed. Giving her a kiss before leaving as Mellie watched her leave.
Resting her head on the pillow, Mellie found comfort in Olivia as she cradled her breast as she tried to remember what happened last night until she hears someone calls her name.
"Mellie"
Flashing back to reality to see Cyrus stand in front of her face.
"What" respond Mellie
"I've looked everywhere for you."
After coming and taking her out of the room, walking beside her Cyrus is asking the same question he said yesterday.
"Would you stop daydreaming in that head of yours."
Mellie rolled her eyes by that comment she wasn't getting much attention from Fitz or anybody else. Luckily she was pregnant with all the doctor's appointments, shopping for baby clothes and food cravings that kept her occupied.
"I need you to find something to wear for the presidential Dinner tonight. Find something nice to wear."
Mellie had to grin and bare these kinds of events especially if they had to deal with Fitz. But that the job the First Lady had to do and Cyrus made her remember that.
"Would you please find something appealing to wear."
"Fine" replied Mellie
As Cyrus departs leaving Mellie alone as she walked down towards her closet.
"Olivia might be there" Mellie said in her head "Wherever he goes Liv is bound to follow."
Through her closet there was nothing eye-popping, nothing that would make the presidential Dinner more interesting. Mellie felt unattractive whenever Liv was around especially while she's pregnant .
Only to find a one-shoulder emerald-green dress as she hangs it on the hook on the door. Mellie looks out the door wondering what Olivia would be wearing tonight then leaves her dressing room to find Fitz.
