"She's so annoying!"

Meg agreed enthusiastically. She would never contradict Diana, oh no. Diana was always right, always good, always justified in all things. And if Eleanor was annoying to Diana, then she was annoying to Meg as well.

Diana leaned back on the covered toilet, twisting a thick strand of her fiery hair between her fingers, her expression betraying slight amusement and satisfaction at Meg, who proceeded to sound off absolutely all the things that were wrong with Eleanor as she knelt before the red head.

Good lord, surely this was what it felt like to be a puppeteer.

"She's such a snob! Looking down her nose at everyone, never even acknowledging us with words! I mean, we're her friends because no one else can stand her! I think she likes to-"

"Meg."

It was taking everything Diana had not to burst into hysterical laughter. She never dreamed that pulling Meg's strings would ever be this easy. She thought she'd encounter at least a little resistance on the younger girl's part, at least. A hesitant remark about one of Eleanor's (Few, granted) better traits.

Looked as though Diana had misjudged just how much Meg was devoted to her.

She smiled.

What a bitch Meg was.

"Maybe we should make her regret snubbing us, eh? Show her what happens when no one likes her?" Meg's eyes widened, brightened, and the wheels were turning.

"Maybe something… With the bird?"

Her voice was filled with excited trepidation, hesitant and searching for approval in her idol's face. Diana smiled like a sweet-intentioned saint.

"Why," She said, innocent as you please, "That's a wonderful idea, Meg. What do you propose we do?"
And Meg told Diana her plan.

It was based off of something she'd overheard a social worker telling Mr. Hoffman regarding Eleanor's parents' deaths.

It was cruel.

It was horrible.

And it was so goddamned perfect, Diana couldn't think of a world to fully describe it.

"I bet she'll cry." She said idly, gleefully imagining Eleanor's face.

"Or maybe she'll get really mad." Meg giggled.

"Is it a bet, then?" Diana asked. Meg nodded wildly, still giggling.

Oh, this was just too easy.

Eleanor, to her credit, would never be half as easy to trick, but she would have been manipulated to Diana's will one way or another. Hell, as far as Diana's 'people-to-screw-with' list went, Eleanor was right up there with Meg herself.

Getting revenge is so easy it should be illegal.

And Diana giggled for almost the exact opposite reason of Meg.
