Prologue
Rosalina went straight to the bus stop, to go back to London, the centre where all magic began. She knew she could find her brother or father that way, eventually.
When she arrived at Diagon Alley, she didn't know where to start; her father en brother both had fled for Lord Voldemort. She didn't know where she had to search, or even who! She hadn't seen them in 15 years! Only Draco knew who and where they were...
After hours wandering she gave up; they could be anywhere! She sat on a bench and she sat there, for hours, it seemed. After a while, Rosalina saw a dark brown owl, flying towards her. Rosalina plied the letter off its claw and started reading. It was Draco's, but it wasn't really an excuse:

Dear Rosie,
I know that you went back to London to find your family; I know you too well. I want to close this chapter in a good way and help you.
Searching for your father is no use, especially not with the limited transportation options you have available . Don't feel offended, please, but it is the truth. Your father lives in Paris, he has a Mugglewife. He works for the ministry of magic in France.
Your brother, on the other hand, lives in London, and works as Auror. He has a muggle girlfriend and she is living with him.
I don't really know the address, but if I were you, I'd start on the ministry, maybe your brother is there, right now. I hope you found the information in my letter useful.
Best regards,
Draco Malfoy

P.S.: I hope it'll ever be... okay between us.
The last sentence of the letter kept echoing in her head. P.S.: I hope it'll ever be... okay between us... "Okay"... If Draco really loved her, or wanted her back, he'd say more than "I hope it'll ever be okay between us" wouldn't he? She sighed. The info in his letter was useful, but she wanted something more than useful information. She wanted him to tell her how sorry he was, begging her to come back to him. Saying he'd change and he really loved her. Sigh... Wrong expatiations... She could've known... He was too proud.
