SPELLBOUND
"I'm in deep trouble."
Ryoma was so nervous, he can hardly breathe.
"Meow...Such a silly child you are. So like your foolish father,meow."
Ryoma almost jump from fright.
"Don't do that,Karupin. I thought it was that stupid old man or mom caught me."
"You know what had you done,correct?"
"Of course I do."
"Meow. Then you know the consequence of what you've done,Ryoma."
There was silence. Karupin stopped licking its paws and looked up. Ryoma stared at him with his golden eyes so rare for a human.
"I'm aware of the consequence for what I've done..But...But I want to do this. For once, I want to do somethin' that I want."
"Stupid,foolish little human."
"Who are you callin' little."
He almost shriek that. If only if he's not afraid to be heard by the other occupants of that house. He sighed and sat down. His racing heart had calm down. Now that the adrenaline rush was over,he felt so exposed. So tired. But he can't relax yet. So many things to to be covered up or he's not only face the consequence of what he had done but also his stupid old man's never ending teasing and his mom's super long lecture and nagging. And of course, those old geezers who had nothin' to do but interfere with his life. And there's also Karupin. He may love his cat but he can't stomach all the boring talk. Nope,he will be very careful and maybe bribe the feline familiar with tuna...hmm,or somethin' more expensive.
"I don't get you,mortals. You love to get in trouble so much."
"I resent that. I'm not just a mere mortal,you know. I don't love trouble but I love the thrill and excitement it entails. You'll never understand since it's been..."
"Meowww."
Ryoma sighed and scratched Karupin's belly and rubbed it's chin. The cat was purring and seem contented. That's all Ryoma want.
