A/N: A short, angsty NarutoxSakura oneshot. I hope you enjoy.
Rated: T for violence and extremely mild swearing.

Summary: Blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth. "I'm scared of the pain, Sakura," his eyes were filling with tears now, as were the girl's kneeled beside him. "But with you here, it doesn't hurt so much." SakuraxNaruto, oneshot.
All the things I'll never Do:
She was so delicate, like a porcelain doll. Her skin was smooth and creamy, like alabaster, and her nose was small and beautifully shaped. With high cheekbones and a wide, kissable forehead, she was a sculptor's dream.
And those eyes. Her greyish-green orbs gave him delicious shivers down his spine.
He lay on the ground, drinking her in. He knew this was the last time he would see her. Raindrops mixed with the blood running from Naruto's wound. "Naruto, you're going to be okay. I promise you that. Sasuke is following the man who attacked you."
Naruto stared at the girl before him with such intensity that his heart began to pound, making the injury in his chest throb. "You're going to be alright," She said again, but she sounded more like she was reassuring herself. "We just need to get you back to the village."
Naruto fumbled for her hand and clasped it in his own. His grip was weak and his skin was slippery from the rain.
He had jumped in front of her and let the knife slide into his own heart, saving her life. Sakura wished he had known that without him, she had no life.
"I hope you're happy with Sasuke. He knows how to take care of you." his voice was soft and dreamy, as if he were falling asleep.
"Stop acting like you're dying! You're going to be okay, damnit!"
Anger was good. She couldn't be sad when she was angry.
Naruto half smiled, and brought her pale hand to his lips, gently kissing her palm.
Blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth. "I'm scared of the pain, Sakura," His eyes were filling with tears now, as were those of the girl kneeled beside him. "But with you here, it doesn't hurt so much." Sakura cried in hushed sobs. "Don't leave me," She whimpered.
"I won't ever leave you, Sakura. I'll always be with you. I love you."
Sakura nodded and sniffled, sobs wracking her frail body. "I love you too, Naruto. God, I wish I had realized that sooner."
"I...I love..." Those were his last words to her.
As Naruto's eyes slowly closed, a picture of Sakura was embedded in his mind. 'I'll always be by your side, Sakura.' he thought, his mind going blank.
His eyes did not open again.
