Pour entire content of the bag into a non-metal bowl. Add 1 ½ cups of flour, 1 ½ cup sugar and 1 ½ cups milk. Mix well then put 1 cup of the batter into each of FOUR 1 gallon Ziploc Freezer bags -- 4 cups total will be removed from the batter. Date bags.
Keep one for yourself and give the other 3 to friends along with a copy of the recipe.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Add the remaining ingredients to the batter in bowl:
3 eggs ½ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup oil 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup milk ½ teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar 2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp. cinnamon 1 lg box instant vanilla pudding
Grease 2 large loaf pans. Mix additional ½ cup sugar and 1 ½ tsp cinnamon. Dust greased pans with ½ of the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Pour the batter evenly into the 2 pans and sprinkle the remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture over the batter. Bake 1 hour.
Cool until bread loosens from the pan evenly—about 10 minutes. Turn onto serving dish and serve warm or cold.
Options: Add 1 cup chopped nuts, raisins, or mini chocolate chips. You can exchange chocolate pudding for vanilla.
Note: The "day" line can be used to keep track of the day or date where you are in process. If you keep a starter for yourself you will be backing every 10 days.
The bread is very good and makes a great gift. Only the Amish know how to create a starter, so if you give them all away you will have to wait until someone gives you back a starter. Have fun!
This is only a for fun page to show a friend how to post to fanfic net.
