Pink Crystal
Note – So, I stepped back in time to complete my on going Ocarina of Time file, and realized, much to my amusement, Ganondorf uses a pink crystal to encase poor Zelda. Kinda sad I only just made that connection, since I've played that game countless times now.
Zelda knew she didn't have a lot of time to talk with Link, she just prayed it'd be enough. She had just managed to give him the Arrow of Light before Ganondorf made a scene, and trapping her inside a crystal. In her shook, she failed to notice the color, for before long she was knocked out.
Zelda woke to the muted sound of a pipe organ playing. Unsure of how long she had been out, when she opened her eyes she looked about. Everything was a pink hue, and she didn't know where she was either. The only other occupant of the room was Ganondorf.
"Didn't think Pink was your color." Zelda mindlessly said, trying to keep calm.
"It didn't work out as planned." Ganondorf growled, "now don't talk about it."
Zelda smiled, she was going to irritate him.
"Seriously, though, pink?" Zelda said, the music mirroring his irritation.
"I planned on red." He said.
"Too much light to hold the correct color?"
"If you don't shut up, that kid won't have a reason to fight."
"You wouldn't do that, you know you want to fight him."
"Then shut your mouth."
"When I'm free, I'm going to have it a memorable thing, 'The Great King of Evil uses a Pink Crystal to encase the Princess of Destiny'."
"I will kill you."
"What spell did you use?"
"What does it matter?"
"If you wanted red and got pink, I'd want to know where you messed up."
"You'd just use the reverse spell to break free."
"Who are you? The fortuneteller?"
"Shut up, or your future will be non-existent!"
"You don't scare me!"
"I hold the Triforce of Power!"
"You used a pink Crystal!"
"Shut Up!"
Zelda wisely became quiet, and struggled to hide a laugh. It was interesting to talk with the Great Evil King, though he was getting pretty scary, in her mind. She would let him calm down a little bit before irritating him more. She had nothing better to do, trapped in that pink crystal.
After maybe an hour, it was hard to tell. She looked down at a somewhat calm Ganondorf and said: "Why pink?"
The pipe organ suddenly blared with no note played; many keys were slammed at once.
Perhaps Zelda's curiosity would never be fulfilled. She would never know why Ganondorf used a Pink Crystal to capture her in.
"Well, it was worth a try."
Complete and utter randomness. A "Friendly" chat between Zelda and Ganondorf in OoT.
