Chapter 1: End

"Avada Kedavra" shouted both Harry and Voldemort.

There was a huge explosion and everyone collided back, motionless, as if dead.

Hermone's (P.O.V.)

I woke up, my head trobbing. Once I sat up I realized that everyone around me lay motionless. Standing I ran over to Harry who was on the ground opposite Voldemort.

I kneel there stunned, confused. My head is spinning a hundred miles per hour murmuring "You can't be dead, please, don't be dead".

Shake his body to see if he would wake I kept checking to see if he would flinch under both my gaze and touch. I stayed there kneeled over his body crying, murmuring words over and over like "You can't leave me, please, you have to be alive".

I was so bothered with his death that I didn't even notice as a faded blue light surrounded my abdomen and then faded away a few seconds later.

After a few minuets of gathering my self I stood up and started to walk around. All I could see were peoples' bodies laying down pale and lifeless. People dear to me and deatheaters, both. Than I ran, I ran. I didn't want to be here anymore looking at the faces of my friends knowing that I would never see them again.

When I got back to Hogsmaid I saw the same dreadful thing I saw at the battlefield, thousands of motionless bodies laying around. The buildings were broken. The bricks had tumbled down and some landing atop bodies.

The explosion of the battle had been so big that it had killed all of the people in the wizarding community, except for me.

I ran for the closest exit out of there and into the muggle world desperately trying to find an escape from all the pain I felt.

Walking around for hours had only made me think of all the people that had died during that explosion and how I should have been one of them. I got exasperated and was about to apparate when I bumped into someone I hadn't seen since we had begun training for the war.
