An Eventful Meeting

Timeline: A year before the events of Gravity Falls episode "Northwest Mansion Mystery", Post-Season 5 of Fairly Odd Parents (before Sparky appears)

Note: This ties in the PODMD series going on my account... but this is more of a mid-installment story of Saga 2 and 3...

There isn't much to special inside the annual Northwest summer party...

This year, the theme is, for some strange reason: One World, as the Northwests are going to host a plethora of ambassadors, which, by itself, a rare occasion for them to do...

Several people are coming from different parts of the globe, a plethora of guest from very influential families that the Northwest wanted to impress...

However, despite the glamor of the party, one of the Northwests began to just sulk in her own room, and it happened to be the only child of the Northwest family...

"Another day with only just people that are unnatural..." she said, while thinking of a day where in she can finally will interact with the commoners...

Yes, she can interact with them, but she must uphold the legacy and the 'classiness' of their family whenever she does so...

But that bell his father has scares her off...

And nothing is worse than hearing it while she sulks, as for her, it meant dear trouble. She began to move quickly and get dressed for the upcoming party with the help of her maids, immediately choosing the English social dress her mother provided for her...

And hopefully, things will be, at least, different this time around...

On the other hand, a limousine is driving along the streets of Gravity Falls, Oregon...

After several long hours of travel, a similar, rich family, coming from the City of Dimmsdale, California, is arriving to join in the glamorous occasion

Inside it was a girl similar to the darling of the Northwests, who once pounded of the question in regards to the ingrained social stigma...

But the recent events that happened in her life manages to give her the answers that she is finding about.

Yes, she may have managed to at least interact with the commoners, with no such authority holding her back... but at the cost of learning was too much about her own family's background, which, in turn, affected the way they all interacted with each other.

She stares outside of the window, watching as the woodlands of the the strange land, secluded from the outside world, pass by, as if the trees are telling that there is are secrets hidden within.

Growing board of watching the trees, she took out and turned on her tablet and began to join in a chartroom, which she is fortunate enough to actually possess and be able to access, in contrast the the child the Northwest had. This is all thanks to her father's Chinese philosophy that still held on to this day, which states that the parents can't keep their child from the outside world forever, lest they would rebel against them.

She began to type in a chatroom, exclusive only to the locals in Dimmsdale, California, in hopes that her friends back there might talk back to her.

She typed: "Going to the Yearly Northwest Social Party in Gravity Falls, Oregon today."

Someone else replied "Oh, you're lucky Trixie, I wish I could join..."

"Hello, starpower4356, how do you know who I am is?"

"Well, simple... EVERYONE in Dimmsdale knows about it... just talk to those stalkers who even went far as to hire hackers to know your accounts..."

Just then, a flood of boys began to express their opinions, which Trixie hated the most recently, as they range from their innocent praise, to the creepy stalker mode. As the chat began to form into a heated argument on who Trixie actually likes, she decided to leave...

This is the very exact reason why she hated to be popular in the first place...

But that is also the only thing she gets her attention for love, as her parents are way too busy to actually give their own personal time for her, aside from a bunch of reminders that she is pretty and special.

That is until a chain of events changed that treatment that her parents give, so that right now, they spend a little more time with her than usual.

But for now, she must survive attending this party she is going to... and hope that no untimely disaster might happen... either from her friend in Dimmsdale who might dare visit her here, or for some apocalyptic event to happen in this mysterious town.

Upon arriving to the gathering hall, the Northwest protégé noticed that the guest for this night is much more plentiful than last year...

She then asks her father "Why do we have so many guest tonight?"

"Well, this is a rare opportunity to impress different nationalities..." he remarked "Besides, this is also an announcement of a joint vent..."

He was cut of from speaking when an Italian guest with a string of curly lock began to dance in circles in the middle of the welcoming hallway, which was then followed by a loud "Feliciano!" by another diplomat from the country of Germany. Mr. Northwest then yelled "Guards, take control of that man!" and several guards came in and tried to calm mysterious man down, but then the German diplomat who shouted earlier showed to them the concept of diplomatic immunity and dragged the Italian away.

"Geez..." Mr. Northwest remarked "These year's guests are much more painful to deal with than..."

"Oh come on! I got here first and I should get that ale!" a British diplomat remarked in another corner.

"As if I wanted it... besides, your produce are of a much lower class the mine..." another diplomat, this time, a French man, taunted, trying to a ragefit towards the Britishman.

"What did you say again?" the British diplomat fell to the taunt, and by this time, he was held back by two teenagers from Japan, which reminded him to calm down. This scene created a facepalm on Mr. Northwest, with a pinch of annoyance with him...

Until a butler came near and told him that his beautiful carpet design was stained by a local diplomat carrying a long train of sausages.

On that notice, his patience was cut short, as evidence by his yell "That's it! I'm putting more rules in this party, darn diplomats with diplomatic immunity..."

Pacifica just stared at his father, as this is the first time he lost his 'cool' in a party. She decided to step out of her position and mingle with the people around...

Which is, surprisingly, a much more harder thing to do than before...

Upon arriving in the mansion, the Tang family went out of the limousine, with Trixie wearing a red Chinese-style dress similar to her mother, and her father wearing a much more westernized coat and tie. Her dad explained that the party is also a form of an announcement of a company merger, thus, despite of being a proud citizen of China, he is forced to wear such a dress code.

Besides, they all decided to reflect different dress codes to remind them that whether East or West, they would still stick together, so, Trixie and her mom decided to wear a Chinese dress to represent the birthplace of the head of the family, and Mr. Tang decides to wear the coat to represent the of his wife and daughter

A fourth figure also came out from the car, a diplomat from China, who then remarked with a worry-filled eyes "This sure would become a chaotic party, given the amount of diplomats they invited..."

"I doubt it..." Mr. Tang said. "Besides, this is also an announcement of a very good merger of two gigantic companies of the East and the West..."

"I'm more than excited to meet Mrs. Northwest!" Trixie's mother replied "It is such a rare opportunity..."

"This seems to be a generic Western party alright..." the Chinese diplomat remarked. "Besides, Trixie, I heard the Northwests has a daughter... maybe you could go talk to her..."

"Yeah, maybe..." Trixie remarked "Well, this is the first party that I went without Tad, Chad and Veronica..."

"Oh, this will be great!" Trixie's mom remarked "Northwest mansion, here we go!"

The entire family manages to walk in the gate, and after they are welcomed, they saw that the party is really a very grand one...

There is giant globe in the middle of the staircase, with the most delicious food from the Eastern and the Western portions of the world lying on the table... a delightful treat that anyone around the world would dare want to taste.

The awe was ruined, however, when they noticed that Mr. Northwest was busy scolding a group of diplomats on their table manners, as if they are just like commoners, with the American one saying "Hey, for your information, we live in a free country... if you know who exactly I am, I can actually sue you a a snap of a finger."

"Oh dear..." the Chinese diplomat commented on the commotion "Why are they acting like kids even in this situation?"

Knowing the context about what the Chinese diplomat meant, Trixie just giggled.

A butler whispered something to Mr. Northwest, and at that, Mr. Northwest straightened up and fixed himself. He then heads towards Mr. Tang, and offered a handshake, in which he said "Sorry for the commotion I caused... it's just I'm expecting too much for diplomats to act like us..."

"It's alright..." Mr. Tang remarked "You would get use to it eventually..."

"Ooh.. hello there Mrs. Tang..." Mrs. Northwest said, with greeting Mrs. Tang as if they are long-time friends "Nice to meet you."

"I'm fine... how about you?"

"Well, there is a lot things we can talk about..."

"Well, I think our meeting is not complete until you see the whole family..." Mr. Northwest said. He brought out a tiny bell and rang it, and that is when Trixie saw the only child of the Northwest family, who then did a curtsy and said "Mr. and Mrs. Tang, this is my daughter, Pacifica Northwest. She is a little bit shy, but she can be confident..."

"Wow, what an adorable daughter you have in there..." Mrs. Tang happily said "And seems friendly too..."

"Wow, what a surprise..." Mr. Tang remarked. "Well, perhaps she and Trixie could get along."

"Pacifica..." Mr. Northwest remarked "Please show our guest's daughter around, I would want you to become friends."

"Yes father..." At that, the parents left the two of them, with Mr. Tang and Mr. Northwest's voice talking about something of a company merge.

At that, Trixie reached her hand out and said "Hi, I'm Trixie Tang, nice to meet you..."

"Well, hello Trixie..." Pacifica said while reaching out for a handshake "Well, my father always talk that the Tang family has a daughter..." She said this as if this is all... scripted and no emotion.

Noticing this, Trixie asks "Well, you seem to not be excited to meet a someone new..."

"Well, duh... I'm actually forced to..." Pacifica then immediately covered her mouth, which weirded Trixie out, and continued "I'm not supposed to say that..."

"Why?" Trixie remarked "That's just fine for me..."

Pacifica then mumbled about something, and then said "We need to talk, privately..."

At that, Pacifica began to drag Trixie, into a hallway that no one dared to pass by. Here, Pacifica said "Um, Trixie, I know this is weird, but I'm not supposed to tell you this..."

"Talk about what?" Trixie asks. At that, Pacifica replied "Well, usually I am forced to be friends to someone... I wanted to actually have friends with someone else other than my class, but my father always try to avoid that to take care of our family name..."

"Same as you..."

That reply from Trixie made Pacifica somehow filled with joy... but then, she replied "What do you mean Trixie?"

"Well, at one point in time, my family, especially my mom, prevented me to interact to those from the lower class..." Trixie remarked "Yeah, at first, I was upset about that, but it all changed when I went in public school... at first, my mom would object, but my dad said otherwise... I do have friends already from the higher class at that time, and that is when my mom already allowed me, but with, of course, bodyguards..."

"Bodyguards, huh?" Pacifica remarked "Well, that rarely happened to me... well, actually, I'm homeschooled... so, I think you are more lucky than me..."

"Well..." Trixie remarked "I've met a lot of homeschoolers like you..." she replied to her with a smile. "Some have a rough time dealing with their family, some are not..."

"Well, at least you get to meet other people..." Pacifica replied to her. "I just wish I could also go to school sometimes..."

"Be careful what you wish for..."

"What, why?"

"Oh, nothing..." Trixie said with a giggle "A friend of mine said that to me most of the time..."

"Oh..." Pacifica remarked "So, do you have a friend from the lower class?"

"Well, actually, some..." Trixie replied to her "Yeah, well, I have a friend from the 'in between the middle and the high class', and seven more from the middle class... at first, I tried to hide them from my mom, but after a discussion, they finally allowed me to be friends with them..."

"Lucky for you..." Pacifica remarked "Because I only have a few here... because there are a few rich people here... and most of those I know are from far-away places..."

"Well, I feel you..." Trixie Tang remarked "Well, someday... you will also have some great friends, all you have to do is to become friendly!"

"Well, I have to work on that..." Pacifica remarked, remembering that there are times she become snotty at others simply because she has to uphold her family's name. "So, where are you from?"

"Dimmsdale, California..." Trixie remarked, with her taking a pun and saying "Where the dumbest and most exciting people are found!"

"Very funny..." Pacifica remarked. "I heard about this Piedmount, California... how is the place like?"

"Well, just a simple city several miles above ours..." Trixie remarked "Besides, me and my family went there several times... well, it is once considered a city of millionaires..."

"Oh, I never knew about that..." the Northwest child gleed "Well, not short of that town called Dansville, which always has news of this crazy megalomaniac trying to conquer the district..."

"You sure do go outside?"

"Well, sometimes, to play minigolf to anyone who challenges me..." Pacifica remarked "I happened to be the Queen of minigolf here..."

"Well, at least your claim to fame is not like my claim to fame!" Trixie remarked "Simply labelled the most popular of all of Dimmsdale had you several stalkers piling up every day to you... at first, I tried playing with them, but sometimes, they get way too off..."

"Oh, me too!" Pacifica said to her "Well, many do say that they like me, but, thanks to my parents, they seem to be, a bit off for my class... besides, I am yet to find someone to have a crush on... because all of the boys I know act like jerks."

"Oh, you still haven't?" Trixie remarked "Well, I can tell of one boy whom I actually did fall for! First, when my mom learned about this, she scolded me, but on the exact same night, my father allowed my crush of mine to bring me a flower... and that crush of mine became a jerk afterwards by killing it..."

"What plant is it anyway?"

"The Seemingly Harmless Plant..."

"Oh, no wonder..."

"Yeah, I researched about it and it turned out to be a rare plant from the Amazon... and the source of the perfume line my father is handling... a good plant for perfumes, but not something you want to keep in the garden... especially near a girl's bedroom..."

"No wonder that crush of yours killed it..." Pacifica remarked "Or else you won't be talking to me."

"Yeah..." she remarked. "Well, things can get a little messy at times when you have a crush to a commoner... and maybe have a rivalry with another commoner... but it can, at times, become a great adventure..."

"Well, I wish it does happen to me... instead of being stuck in this place the entire year..." Coming back to the topic, Pacifica asks "So, have you came into a boy/girl relationship with this, well, commoner?"

"Well... no..." Trixie replied to her. "But someday, if we are fated to be... besides, I think it is best for us to be friends for now."

"Well, who knows, maybe we'll talk about this next summer and be surprised on what happened." Pacifica remarked.

"Well, I highly doubt that..." Trixie replied, with her continuing "I bet that this time around, your father is having a hard time dealing those diplomats who came to the party..."

At that, Pacifica's father yelled "YOU CAN'T FILE A LAWSUIT JUST BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE BURGERS ON THE MENU!"

At that, both of them giggled, with Pacifica asking "So, you also knew about these diplomats?"

"Kinda..." Trixie replied to her "Well, they are the reason why my father is here in the states..." At that moment, they both heard the sound of a little bell, which Pacifica interjected "The bell... we have to go..."

"What do you me..." At that, Trixie was once gain dragged again, and they properly presented themselves before Pacifica's father, with him saying "Pacifica, we are going to announce about the merger... just stay here for a while..."

"Yes father..."

"Oh, there you are, Trixie..." Mr. Tang called out while coming near them, with him continuing "Wow, you two seemed to be that close in a short run."

"Of course dad, what do you expect from a me?" Trixie replied.

"Wow, that's incredible politeness from you..." Mr. Northwest said "Perhaps you taught my daughter some traits regarding that..."

"Yes..." Pacifica remarked, with a sad tone.

"Well, I think it's now time for an..."

"OH YEAH!" the very same American diplomat that is causing trouble since earlier said while grabbing the microphone, which caused a lot of frustration from Mr. Northwest and to actually nearly explode out of anger "On behalf of Mr. Northwest and Mr. Tang, I would want everyone to listen up for their important announcement..."

"You're getting used to them Mr. Northwest..." Mr Tang remarked, as he noticed that Mr. Northwest is about to explode. "As a famous proverb said, every gold is dug from stone..."

At that, Mr. Tang and Mrs. Tang began to come up the staircase which also acted as a stage, with Mr. Tang saying "Trixie, I want you to come with us..."

"Well, this is where we part..." Trixie remarked, with Pacifica saying "What do you mean?"

"After this announcement, we'll head straight home..."

"I thought you'll stay here a little bit, well, more?"

"Well, don't worry, you can find a good friends in the future..." after that, Trixie came up to the stairs with her family, which is then followed by the Northwest family...

And the next thing that has happened is that of a picture of the two families standing side-by-side in a gigantic globe... with a picture taken for the business newspaers to publish.

And right after that pictorial, Pacifica went on to observe Trixie walking away...

And somehow, wished, in her heart, that next year, things will go different for her life... and maybe, in the way she could deal with those in the lower class...

But she has a big question: How would she do exactly that?

Somewhere, however, the British diplomat began to open up up a golden watch which he is wearing in his English cloak, as if he is waiting for the right moment.

He is then approached by the same American diplomat that become one of the banes of Mr. Northwest, asking "Yo, Arthur, what are you worrying?"

"Well, nothing..."

"I know you, you are always acting like that whenever you are in this town."

"I'm not acting weird you bloody pig!"

"What, afraid that the show I just recently aired will happen in this world?" his fellow diplomat friend taunted him "Well, I doubt it..."

"How are you even sure that such an event will happen?" Arthur asks him, with the later saying "Well... my guess... besides, the show isn't finished and there is no sign of Pine Tree and Shooting Star in here..." with the latter laughing, taking it as a joke.

"Well, explain Ilama then..." Arthur remarked, with the latter saying "You're just overthinking then... besides, no one knows what will happen to the show's ending as of now... let's be glad that no 'dream demon' come and suddenly come hunting us, countries, down..."

At that, the other diplomat left Arthur, with Arthur holding a paper out towards the full moon, with a cryptic message saying:

"Same time, next year, Golden Flame of Industrialization, if the world didn't end by the Second Great War, then it will end by my Apocalypse. Rally your troops, and tell your most trusted Lion to rally his forces. Let's see who gets to win a game of chess and who will get to the Prison Bottle first.

-Bill"

"Ugghh..." Arthur remarked, with him saying "When will this threats ever end?"

A/N: To those who are not yet familiar, Gravity Falls is well known for its rich amount of puzzles...

It is literally a show covered with dots on the topic of conspiracy theories...

Many might be asking why am I adding this in the PODMD series (the main series running in my account)? Simple...

The theme is just too complex to not be added, and I think it is a nice series to complement a nice struggle on the major theme of the PODMD series.

Oh, if anyone of you think that some characterizations are a bit, well, off, you might want to contact me, as this is just an experimental fic for the future...

Just for the fun of it, I'm placing a cipher so that everyone can have fun decoding it
