It was quiet. The air soaked with bliss. Serene and pure. Radiating the subconscious connection of the two who lay at peace; entangled in one another beneath the covers of their bed. Two witches. Diana Meade, and Faye Chamberlain. Diana had already awoken, resting on a low set elbow with a tilt head. The visage over her face, so sweet and bright, gazed adoringly down at the other girl. She had no idea how long she'd been awake already, nor aware of the subconscious act performed by her hands. The covers only came up to Faye's waist while she lay on her stomach, nude beneath the shelter; head towards Diana. Faye slept heavily, oblivious to the soft grazes of Diana's fingertips along the flesh of her back. Needless to say, Diana was mesmerized. Just as she always had been when they finally took initiative to try and become closer. This wasn't exactly what they had in mind, but neither protested in any manner, where they wound up. Diana loved the feel of her skin. So much softer than anything she had known before. It wasn't like touching a male. It was sweeter. Easily far more sensual. And she became absorbed in it more often than she would admit. It amazed her that something she had always known to be reserved, cold, bitter and in some instances cruel, also held this...this side that expressed passion. Intimacy. Longing. She knew Faye was different towards her, but that only made her love the girl even more. That's not to say that Faye wasn't still known to be snarky or sny. She was Faye, after all. With every mistake, she eventually never failed to make it right. Diana never had anybody try so hard like Faye did. Her passion and drive to simply belong to her felt like a gift. After all the pain. The chaos. The drama. She found something that felt...right. And it was Faye Chamberlain, 'Residential Bad-Girl', of all people.

Diana had been so lost in thought that she didn't realize Faye woke until she heard a quiet; "Hey..." Torn back to the reality that felt more like a Fantasy, she felt a smile light up her features when she looked down at the darker haired girl. "You're awake." She stated as more of a soft explanation of joy, than a question. "Yeah-and the slow dancing across my back had nothing to do with it." Faye spoke with a soft, groggy tone. She turned over onto her side, catching Diana's hand as it began to fall; bringing it to her lips for a small kiss. Diana, yet again, baffled. Only just opening her eyes with a sassy comment. A quiet giggle escapes Diana's lips, head ducking slightly which quickly lead into a cross for a kiss. Faye didn't fight it. She loved it. The sweet taste of her lips, how slow and gentle the motions of her tiers were. Well aware that Diana did have the capacity to show a more aggressive nature. The kiss ended too soon for Faye's liking. However she filled the gap with a comment; "You were doing it again." Now lifting a brow, baiting a slightly flushed Diana who responded in her usual sweet tone; "And what would that be?"

"You were watching me..." She tried to sound cool, and simply observant. Like it wasn't a big deal at all. But to her, it was. Nobody ever looked at her the way Diana did. Seeing the way her eyes would swell with love when she looked at her, she couldn't describe it. Every insecurity simply faded. And all there was, were those eyes. Such sweet chocolate orbs, staring at her just as they were now. "Does it bother you?" Faye smirked and very slightly shook her head.

"Not at all. It just makes me think..." Reaching out for the girl, she curled arms around her, pulling her into an embrace. Diana quickly positioned herself to rest a head on Faye's torso, responding up at her. "What about?"

"You, dumb ass." Faye snapped teasingly. Diana simply wobbled her head, eyes rolling as if saying; 'Of course.' "Okaaaay, what about me?" Faye noticed her eager little wiggle to know what's on her mind.

"It's lame, don't worry about it." Faintly smiling, she placed a hand to Diana's heart. Fingers were delicate, soft, and of course she noticed her girlfriend's eyes closing in the sensation. Deep, slow, but soft breath taken in before she continued; "But I want to know."

Faye loved that with a simple touch alone, this girl would always erupt with some form of glee. Having this kind of power over somebody was new to her, and she had quickly become addicted to it. However, to be fair, she would swear up and down that Diana had a greater effect on herself. Her good nature was infectious. Faye wanted to do right by her. Regardless of what others thought. Though they were still technically not public with the news of their relationship. With the exception of Melissa. She knew them both too well and quickly caught on to their tells. As expected by Faye, she was more than supportive.

She noticed Diana's silence and expectant gaze. Knowing there was no avoiding it, Faye whined, head somewhat drooping. "Ugh. You're really going to make me say it? You already took my guy-card, what more do you want?"

Diana gave a sweet song of laughter. Well, to Faye it was like a song. The sweetest melody. Her agitation suddenly broke into a half smile. "Well if you no longer have a 'guy-card' then there's no need to be macho." A glint was in Diana's eyes as she stared up at her, had she even stopped smiling since Faye woke up?

"But I want to be a macho man..." Faye's head fell closer for a moment, giving a playful whine.

"Faye Chamberlain. Spill." Well, there it is finally. She stopped smiling. Good, Faye thought; any longer and her face might get stuck that way. Faye chuckled to herself before finally erupting with a soft exasperated, "Okay!"

Diana turned, sitting up. Her body somewhat twisted. Hands pressed into the bed, holding her body up but defined the smooth and deep curve in her back. Her hair, so silky and soft, cascaded down her right shoulder. Faye froze for a moment. Diana's stare was intense. The way her eyes looked into her own, like she could see every secret. Know every thought, hope and dream. She felt as though Diana could literally see into her soul. God, how lame her thoughts were right now. But above all, it was a stare that was only for her. Always letting Faye know, this girl was so dangerously close to her. She didn't see every crack in her armor. No. She was already behind it. Clinging to her. Invading her. Everything Faye was, became her.

The sweet witch had become aware of Faye's stillness. A small smile inched across her lips as she gazed down, her cheeks burning somewhat fiercely when a giggle dripped from her lips. Faye blinked then clenched her eyes closed, cringing somewhat. Not painfully so, but more embarrassed. She looked back to Diana, whose gaze was back upon her. "What do you do to me, Meade?" Soft and sincere. Stating how strange it is to Faye to be so strongly affected by somebody. That sweet smile was back only now she positioned herself on her knees; sitting in a rather pristine manner. Faye couldn't help but let her eyes linger, even if for a moment. Diana was hers anyway, right? Faye took in every detail of her nude frame. Suddenly she was turned upward by Diana's hand guiding her chin. "Faye." An urging but soft tone, she couldn't blame her for being so easily distracted. It was one of the ways Diana could see just how crazy Faye was about her. But she had Diana curious. And curious Diana always gets her answers.

"Right. Sorry." Small vibrate to her head to shake her daze away. Faye noticeably cringed under what she was thinking before slowly starting. "I was thinking...about what first made me realize I felt more for you than I previously believed." Her head was hung, hiding behind her raven hair. Diana wouldn't stand for this, she couldn't have Faye being compelled to hide her face while she revealed her heart. Gently the girl reached into Faye's curtain of hair, and lead her face out into the dim morning light. Bringing her features close to her, fingertips lightly caressing her cheek she cooed; "Tell me."

Faye took a small breath, reaching for Diana's hands and claiming them in her own. "It was the night you and Adam broke up." she began, seeing the curious but confused twist to her gaze. "You don't know this, but I saw you that night. You were running. Crying. I saw you. Miserable. Broken. And it felt like somebody tore my heart from my chest. I thought, how could something so beautiful, so selfless, careful and compassionate, deserve to feel that way? It wasn't right. Then a thought came, that I should run after you. Comfort you. Hold you until the pain goes away." Faye had paused to take a breath, only to be met with Diana's quiet words;

"What stopped you?"

"Me being me. Confusion. Denial. I didn't understand what I was feeling so I just willed it away." The way Faye spoke about herself brought a sad glow to Diana's eyes.

"I was thinking about that night too, actually." Diana stated finally, after a moment of silence. "I said something. Back then I didn't believe it possible, but now...I have it. I have what I wished for. What I dreamed of."

The darker haired girl slightly smirked; intrigued by what Diana was about to say. Something she dreamed of? Listening intently when Diana continued; "I said, that I wanted a love, that felt so right, so empowering that it would make me believe in Destiny."

Faye felt a grin absorbing her features; "Are you saying, that I'm your Destiny?" The thought of Diana believing such an innocent view for some reason made her tingle. To be seen in such a way by her...

"I...um, y-yeah. Something like that." Faye of course noticed Diana stammer in her response. She couldn't help but to fluster her more. Leaning in, her grin becoming sly, amused, yet delighted; "That is the cheesiest, lamest-"

"Hey!" Diana snapped with an offense dropping her jaw.

"-sweetest, most wonderful thing anybody has ever said to me." Faye had continued, ignoring Diana's outburst. Diana's cheeks burned and Faye just had to touch her. After this talk, she had to kiss her. And that's exactly what she did. Faye's hands cupped Diana's cheeks softly, leading her into a press of their lips. The kiss, starting with slow and gentle grazes, soon grew firmer. Deeper. Caressing with love, and desire. As she kissed the girl, she smiled widely at the thought she had; Faye Chamberlain, made Diana Meade believe in Destiny.
