DM The Trouble With Hiccups
Margo was enjoying a drink of pop, when Dave the minion told her a silly joke. Margo hooted with laughter. But ''Hic!'' Margo went. She had the hiccups! Margo kept hiccupping as she walked along. ''Got de hiccups I see Margo'' Gru commented as she walked past. ''Yes HIC I have'' Margo hiccupped.
''I think I know how to get rid of de hiccups'' Gru said, ''Try holding your breath and counting to one hundred''. Margo held her breath until she almost passed out. ''Hic'' Margo said, ''it didn't HIC work''. ''Oh dear, well then perhaps you should try and ask Lucy or your sisters''.
Margo went to where Lucy was checking her AVL weapons. ''Em try drinking a glass of water from the wrong side'' Lucy instructed, after she had seen that Margo had the hiccups. Margo went to the kitchen, filled a glass and sipped to no avail. She sighed and hiccupped again.
''Yeah'' Margo sighed, ''but how am I going to get rid of these hiccup? They're really annoying me now''.
Margo went to ask Agnes next. ''Try standing on your head and counting to 100'' Agnes suggested. Margo did so until she lost her balance, and ''Hic'' Margo hiccupped. By the time evening came, she still had the hiccups, and had lost all hope. ''It's HIC no good'' Margo sighed hiccupping again ''It HIC looks my hiccups are HIC here to stay''.
''Well everything was worth a try'' Gru said at dinner time.
''Hey!'' Edith called out ''anyone want to see my new ninja picture? I just finished it''. ''Sounds interesting Edith'' Gru smiled, ''we'll check it out after dinner''.
Later everyone crowded round as Edith proudly held up a canvas. Margo was so freckled out she nearly jumped out of her skin. ''Edith, what's that?'' she shrieked. ''Ninja skeletons'' Edith beamed, pleased with the fact that her picture was scary. ''Wait a minute, my hiccups are gone!'' Margo exclaimed.
''It must have been de shock'' Gru said, ''well done Edith''. Edith smiled, it wasn't so very often her obsession with ninjas came in handy.
