She smiled.
She smiled just the way she always did when she probably wanted to make his heart stopped. That beautiful smile of her was breath taking like a smile of an angel from haven.
Did anyone ever notice it? Or am I alone in it?
He looked around.
Lavi was eating his food and with his mouth half full he was chatting with Krory who sat opposite to him.
He didn't notice and neither did Krory. Had anyone notice it or was it just his personal curse of losing his mind when ever that smile showed up on her pretty face.
This is insane! He had been thinking about her smile for more than five minutes.
Man, she really got under my skin.
"Allen-kun, are you all right?" The object of his thoughts asked with a lovely voice.
"Uhm, yeah," he said putting his left hand to the back side of his head. "I'm okay. I was just thinking." He assured her.
Lenalee blinked in confusion. "Well, if you say so."
They continued eating and after that they went out.
"Uhm, Allen-kun?" asked Lenalee suddenly as they walked from the cafeteria.
"Yes, Lenalee?"
"I was just thinking…." She started with pink cheeks. "Would you like to go with me for a walk? The flowers and plants probably started bloom and I would really like to see that…with you." She explained and gave him her world known smiled that could mess up anyone's head.
Allen blushed. Is it possible to get any cuter? Apparently not.
"S-sure, Lenalee I-I would be more than happy to go with you." He said and then a minute after that he open his mouth in surprised. Did she just ask me out?
"Allen-kun?"
"What? Oh, let's go!"
Both of them were walking through a beautiful garden.
"Wow! I had no idea we had such a huge garden here."
"Well, Krory had done his job." She said with a lovely smile and stood in front of a shrub of roses.
"Really? This is amazing!" said Allen while he was looking around fascinated.
"Unbelievable," he sight.
"It really is. I asked Krory few times how was he able to make this kind of masterpiece in such a short time but he refused to answer. I think it has something to do with Eliade. He still can't get her of his mind." Said Lenalee sadly.
"Yeah, love hurts and leaves a scar to remember."
Lenalee looked at Allen. "Better to love and lost than to never love at all."
"You think?" Both of them were staring at each other. Allen with a question and Lenalee in surprised.
"Of course." Another smile.
"You don't?" He looked at the ground and bend down.
"Hmm, maybe you're right but what if you're not sure. What if the person you love doesn't love you back?" he picked up a small tulip.
"Well, you'll know it. If the person is acting nice to you, he's always looking for your company and asking you to go and a romantic walk through a beautiful garden, he has to be in love," she said red as an apple.
Allen blinked and when he understood his eyes grew in surprised.
"Lenalee!"
"I really like you Allen-kun." She said blushing but with a happily smile on her face.
That smile.
That smile kept him from losing himself.
The smile that could save him from the dark and hopelessness.
The only think that kept him alive when he was on the limit with his power.
The smile of Lenalee Lee. His compare his friend and his love.
"I like you more, Lenalee," he said with his own lovely smile.
His smile that made her stood her ground and started to walk again.
That smile.
