"W-Wilfred?" I had woken up in the middle of the night and had turned around only to meet a pair of gentle eyes watching me silently.
"Did I wake you up?" Wilfred's velvety voice asked me softly, his hand reaching out to caress my cheeks instinctively.
"N-no," I blushed, suddenly aware of how intimate we were. "I had felt thirsty and… hey, are you watching me all this while?" I pouted indignantly, realizing how ugly I must have looked while sleeping.
"Yes, I couldn't fall asleep." Wilfred whispered, before smiling in response, "I was thinking about our child."
"C-child?" I widened my eyes in astonishment, what in the world was my prince dreaming about?
"I want him to have your kindness, all of your strengths and your beautiful eyes," Wilfred murmured quietly, voicing out his thoughts while lifting a strand of wild hair from my eyes.
"Well, I would have want our child to take after you instead. Your beautiful golden locks, your brilliant blue eyes and all your amazing traits- your gentleness and your-" My sentence was cut short with a sudden kiss from Wilfred, and when the kiss had ended abruptly just as it had started, I noticed a tinge of red across his cheeks.
I giggled, "Wils…"
"You were speaking about how good I am…" Wilfred was beginning to blush a deeper red, "You are always able to see the best in the others, when I am not as amazing as you think…"
"Silly Wilfred," I sighed contentedly, Wilfred didn't know how happy I am, simply just by being with him. "You are always saying and thinking this kind of silly things. It is no wonder that you couldn't sleep well." I snuggled into his chest, feeling his strong arms around me.
I wrapped my arms around his waist as well, whispering quietly, "Sleep well, my Prince. I am sure that no matter what, our child will be the most adorable kid in the world."
I could feel Wilfred ruffling my hair, and his gentle voice replying me, "I love you so much, my princess." I grinned to myself, my eyelids getting heavier as sleep had threatened to take over me once again.
I could hear him reminding me before I drifted off to dreamland again.
"I want dozens of kids though, all of a hundred of them playing in our Kingdom."
My silly prince…
