"I'm sorry.."
Embry looks up at the source of the voice and finds none other than Leah Clearwater.
"What?" He asks.
"I'm sorry for what I said, when we were in Sam's Pack. It was wrong of me. I just, I just hope you can forgive me. And if you can't, I understand. I was horrible to you and the others. Because I was so angry with myself and the world I took it out on all of you. But I just don't want you to be mad at me now that we're both in Jake's pack."
And because Embry has always been a really decent guy, he accepts.
"Really?" She questions with a hopeful yet confused look on her face that makes him realize how much she has changed and how beautiful she looks in the moonlight.
"Yeah."
And she does something that surprises them both. She runs up to him and hugs him, "Thank you." She whispers and pulls back slightly to look at him and is slightly gob smacked by how beautiful he looks in the moonlight. She gently lays her hand on his cheek and watches as he closes his eyes and leans into it. She puts her other hand on his other cheek and smiles a small smile when he opens his eyes. He smiles back, everything's changed for them. He's hoping this is another beginning of something great.
And he's answered when her lips gently presses themselves to his in a soft kiss. They both smile into it, finally happy that Fate is giving them a break. For making them realize everything that night, under the moonlight.
