"Guess what?" Jakotsu said as he hung up the phone.

"What?" his life-partner, Bankotsu, distractedly replied.

"I'm pregnant," the cross-dresser said saucily as he came over to where Bankotsu sat, working on Youkai's next album. "So if I get all emo on you, you'll know why."

Bankotsu looked up from his work. "What?"

Jakotsu, thinking the look of surprise on his face was priceless, giggled. "I'm pregnant, Ban honey. And before you haul me off to the bedroom to check for a uterus; my character, Emiko's the pregnant one." He frowned at the look on his life-partner's face. "I thought you'd be excited for me."

"I am, Sweetness," he said, pulling his life-partner close. "But haven't you had enough excitement for one year?"

Jakotsu sighed. "Don't remind I'm forty again… But what's wrong with getting committed?" he said testily.

Committed is the word for it alright… "Nothing, I just remembered how upset you were about the press hounding you and our families and friends after they got wind of it. So why's Emiko pregnant all of a sudden?"

"Well, it was Sessh's stupid remark on that talk-show that gave them the idea."

"Want me smack him for you when I see him on Monday?"

Jakotsu giggled. "Nah. It's going to be quite the challenge for me acting-wise. I hope I can pull it off."

"I have confidence in you that you will, Sweetness."

"Awe… Thanks, Ban honey." He kissed him. "So then you won't mind if I practice getting all emo on you?"

Bankotsu chuckled. "Since when do you need any practice?" he teased.

"Ban honey!" Jakotsu playfully tried pushing his way, but his life-partner held on tight.

"You know I love you, Sweetness…" Bankotsu said huskily.

"Awe… I love you too, Ban honey…" He kissed Bankotsu long and hard…
