In the desolate wastes of Hueco Mundo, a sudden breeze blew the snow-white sands as a strange, swirling rift appeared just above the ground. If any Hollow had been anywhere near that spot on the surface, and if they were non animalistic and intelligent in nature, they would have noticed that it was not a Garganta, or indeed any known method for traveling between the various realms. As the moon shone in the endless night skies above, the rift disgorged a multi-colored blob and simply vanished without a trace, disappearing as suddenly and mysteriously as it had appeared.
Still unseen by any save a Hollow lizard or two that had cautiously crawled out of the sand to see what was going on, the blob began to reverse its outward spread, slowly starting to coalesce into a solid shape. Eventually, it began to take the form of an unconscious dark-haired girl, lying on the ground.

In case you didn't already know, this story is part of Project Dark Jade, a fanfiction project founded by Eduard Kassel and Nocturne no Kitsune (the latter of which has since dropped off the radar), meant to "address a depressing vacuum in the Jackie Chan Adventures Archives. Namely stories in which the shows leading little lady either strays or is press ganged unto the dark side.". Eduard's "Queen of All Oni" story is likely the most popular JCA story ever, BTW.
