AN: I know, normally I just write Harry Potter fics but while I was waiting for my Pottermore email I needed something to keep my brain occupied to avoid the rage. So Phineas and Ferb became my distraction, and now I'm hooked. Don't worry, I'm still a Potterhead as well. Now I'm just a multifandom nerd. Kay, onto the story.
Phineas left the room and down the hall. He looked in every room, except for Candace's room since he heard some sounds in there that he'd rather not identify. She must have gone downstairs, so he sprinted down into the living room. He maneuvered his way through the party, looking for any glimpse of Isabella. He ran outside and looked around the backyard, but no one was there. Eventually deciding that she must have gone home and to just give up, he started walking towards the house. He looked up as he reached the sliding door, and he finally saw her. She was slowly walking towards the glass door, looking down. She hadn't seen him.
Phineas saw this as the perfect opportunity, so he stood right up to the door without making a sound. Isabella got to the door and paused to reach for the handle. Phineas quickly grabbed the handle and quickly slid the door open, stepping forward and crushing his lips to hers. He pulled back after only a second and met her eyes. She looked at him with a mixed expression of shock, confusion and joy. He only smiled sheepishly at her and said, "Figured it was about time I did that." Then he took her hand and led her outside, so the two of them could really talk. I won't disclose the details of that conversation, since they deserve a little privacy, but let's just say that Ferb was in for a very good surprise when he got home.
AN: So, what do you guys think? My first shot at a Phineas and Ferb fic. Just a little oneshot I came up with and had to write.
Also, this story is actually based on how my dad asked out my mom. It didn't happen exactly like the story, but the sliding door bit is exactly what my mom told me. When she first told me about him opening a door and kissing her I thought it was gross, because come on they're my parents. Ew. But when I thought about the scenario in terms of Phinabella, I thought it fit them really well and was adorable. My parents did something that actually inspired me for once. Go figure. Anyway, I'm done rambling. Go review. I appreciate it.
