He crawled over, reaching the fallen figure of the one who he had shared his life with, shared his dreams, his home, and his heart with. The tan figure that was once his great love... was paling. As soon as he reached him, he could feel reality fade away until they were once again in the field of flowers, sunflowers, in which they had confessed their love, and started their hidden relationship, the one no one knew of, even to this day. He rested his hand behind his lovers head.
It wasn't supposed to be this way...
"You said…you'd never leave me..." he paused, staring at that pale smiling face.
He didn't notice that the blood had disappeared.
"You promised...to never go away. That you'd be here forever..."
Blue eyes opened.
"Yes...I promised that to you Sasuke...and Uzumaki Naruto…never goes back on his promises...now does he?"
He stared at the one below him, lost in his eyes...and he didn't notice anything...not one thing...
He didn't notice the soft footsteps that drew closer...
...ever closer...
He didn't notice the shrill shing of a sword being scraping its way across the cold hard floors of his home...
...scraping...
He didn't notice the silence of the world as his killer, his once only goal, his brother, stopped in front of him...
...sword raised...
And he didn't notice the pain of the sword that ran him through...straight through his heart...into his loves...
Because he didn't care anymore...not about anything...except for those eyes...
He knew no more.
