AN: I OWN NOTHING OF THE BEASTLY OR WICKED FRANCHISE!
Me: I normally wouldn't write a thing for a movie like this, but I watched it a couple nights ago and this poem popped into my head. I know it's a little jumpish and perhaps a little unorganized, but I think I did a good job on it considering. So please review!
Love the World You Find:
Every time I see you,
My heartstrings come undone;
Your amber eyes look through me,
And I fall through your spell.
I never thought I'd love you,
Never thought you'd see
Anyone but yourself;
None the less me.
You only love your vanity,
I know this much is true.
The only time you see me,
Is if your vain eyes allow you.
To you no one else is acceptable,
They all must bow to you.
We're all just ugly ducklings,
In your horrid point of view.
But for some reason you saw me,
And for some reason I liked you.
Of course, and I should of known,
It was all too good to be true.
However as you held me,
In the darkness of the night,
I swear I could sense longing sadness
In beauty's starry light.
I do suppose there's more to you
Than I may ever know.
Is it me,
Or are your eyes aglow?
You held me tighter
And whispered in my ear.
You told me that you're sorry,
That this was all fear's act.
I pull away in silence,
Take in the details of your face.
There is no hidden truth sulking in your eyes,
No lie that may be seen.
You pull me back to you,
Softly stroke my hair.
Your smile is nothing but canny,
As you whisper in my ear:
"But you learn to love the world you find,"
