Author's Note: This is My first story so constructive criticism is welcome, also this is set during the Galactic Civil War and 20 years after the War between the UNSC and Covenant ended and at this point I don't know if I will put the Flood in here.
Emperor Palpatine was quietly pondering when Darth Vader entered the Room.
"Lord Sidious you have summoned me?" inquired Vader.
"Yes Vader for you see I have a mission for you, we should further the empire's influence."
"How Emperor if we govern the galaxy what else is there, and might I add the Rebel Alliance is a growing problem and I believe if we don't destroy their movement soon then they will become more powerful with more systems joining their cause. I believe that we must first concentrate on destroying them before we move on to other Galaxies" Vader finished.
"The Rebel's movement to end our rule will fail when they face the might of the Death Star, however it still is in construction but it's almost finished. In the meantime why don't we spread the Empire's influence." Palpatine finished. "Vader why should we be content with just this galaxy, when we could go to another and set up the Galactic Empire's influence there."
"My apologies Emperor, if I may just ask one more thing, were will you command me to go?"
"To the closest Galaxy to us." Then Palpatine walked over and turned on a hologram of the Milky Way Galaxy. "You will take a small fleet of Star Destroyers and see if you can encounter any of the sentient species that inhabit it. Then if you encounter any intelligent races subjugate them and conquer the world."
"Alright, I shall go Emperor." and with that Darth Vader left the room. Which left Palpatine with an evil smile as he was gazing at the hologram.
