Ill Stand By You
Rose thought about the Doctor and his deep brown eyes; her lonely wanderer so full of hurt travelling alone for so long. Behind those eyes he hid so much and would never tell her; she needed to know so much and wished that he would tell her.
Oh why you look so sad? Tears are in your eyes, come on and talk to me now.
He was always, always smiling, but it wasn't a real smile; it never reached his eyes. She wanted to fix it but he never let her.
Don't be ashamed to cry, let me see you through because ive seen the dark side too.
She had caught him crying once or rather she had overheard him crying in his room after they had lost one of many people they had met. He'd never cried in front of her though; never. He would hide that from her, he was the one who was 'always alright', she was the one who would cry openly.
When the night falls on you, you don't know what to do. Nothing you confess, could make me love you less.
She knew he had done so much, changed so much and seen so much. He blamed himself for a lot that went wrong but no matter what she never blamed him. She just wanted to tell him,
Ill stand by you.
She hated his Timelord ways sometimes, the way that he would only get mad in the face of his enemies. He said he implored the human emotions so why didn't he always show them? She would get angry with him and she just wanted him to get angry back; just to prove he had that human side. But he always held back.
So, if you're mad get mad. Don't hold it all inside come on and talk to me now.
She just wanted him to talk to her. To get mad at her if he had to, to scream and shout everything that he was hiding deep inside.
Hey, what you got to hide? I get angry too, well im a lot like you.
'Just tell me Doctor' she would think to herself, 'tell me what you're feeling' she was too afraid to ask him though; she didn't want him to feel pressured to open up to her even though she had done so for him.
You're standing at the crossroads and don't know which half to choose. Let me come along, cus even if you're wrong.
She had stood next to him in the face of danger, she had stood and watched things crumble before their eyes, but she had always gripped onto his hands. She could fight anything with him by her side.
Ill stand by you
She would, she'd be there forever, nothing could ever stop her from defending him and keeping her close. Not that he knew that; after all he never asked.

She walked to the Doctor who was standing in the kitchen getting a banana as always. She pulled him into a close, embracing hug and held him close, she felt his arms wrap around her; his two hearts beating onto her chest.
The beat of his hearts were like a soft music, music she always associated with him. It had been playing since their first encounter and it hadn't stopped.
"Rose what is it?" He said pulling back
She smiled at him and said quietly, "Ill stand by you."
"What?" He asked softly
"Ill stand by you." She repeated.
He looked at her as though quizzing her and nodded back at her; he knew how she felt of course he did.
She walked away, content at what she had said.
"Rose…"
"Yeah." She said turning around.
"I want to talk, I want to tell you everything."
Rose beamed and took a seat at the kitchen table opposite the Doctor, placing his banana down he took her hand and began to divulge everything.
Ill stand by you, I wont let nobody hurt you, ill stand by you. Take me in into your darkest hour and ill never desert you, ill stand by you.
