Without any kind of warning,
A letter came one morning
I opened it up and read
The words that were written in red
It said, "Elizabeth had died."
Someone obviously lied
Something told me it wasn't a lie
So how exactly did she die?
I ordered Sebastian to get information
Or some kind of conformation
He came back and said, "Sir, I'm sorry to say
The young miss had passed earlier today."
He didn't say how and didn't say why,
But Sebastian could never lie
Reality hit me like a ball
Had I not been sitting, I'd surely fall
She was gone and would never come back
A happy girl the world would lack
I could see her eyes gleaming bright
Like stars in a pitch black night
She'd smile and laugh to her hearts content
Until her energy was spent
Memories came in the blink of an eye
I never once thought she would die
First my parents and now her
The only one left is the butler
Sebastian left me alone to mourn
The girl I knew since she was born
I had to believe that she had passed
Nothing can ever last
When something is lost, it can never gained
No matter how good you are or pained

For this fanfic, I wanted to try and do a poem...not really good at storytelling in poems...should have thought that through some more...XD I wanted to try and capture Ciel's sadness about it, but it was hard since he might not be as sad as one would think he should be :P Oh well! I hope you enjoyed it!
