I've decided. It's my mission. I'm going to write a story for every Sakura pairing that has no others written about it (unless its yuri, that's the one thing I don't write). Either that, or to prove I have too much free time. You decide. But don't worry, I will go back to writing for my usual (crack) pairings soon enough… just had to get this out of my system.

She remembered the first time she saw him… it was at the academy and he was picking up his son. She didn't know why he struck her interest, he just did. Something about him made her want to run up and hug him… but why?

Even at this young of an age she had her heart set on the youngest Uchiha, yet in comparison the two couldn't be more different. For one, he was an adult. With a son her age. She was certain that fell under the category of "big no-no". Then there was his size… but maybe that's what she liked. He looked like a giant teddy bear and she wanted nothing more than to run up and hug him until he turned blue. Really, she had thought about it, and decided that the blue would go well with the markings on his face.

Ino knew him. She wasn't sure if that made it better or worse that she had a secret crush on him, but her best friend knew who he was.

"Chouza-san! Chouza-san!" her blond friend had called. "Wait up!"

Sakura had watched with wide eyes as her walking teddy bear stopped and kindly smiled as Ino ran up to him, dragging her along.

"Father wanted me to give this to you," Ino said, handing a bag to the man. "He said he couldn't give it to you himself because he… was doing something… I don't remember what, sorry."

"That's alright," the man had answered, his warm smile still on his face. "Be sure to thank him for me."

"I will," Ino promised.

"Come on Chouji, we don't want to be late," Sakura heard him say as he continued to his destination.

"That was Akimichi Chouza," Ino informed her friend. "He's Chouji's dad, and he was on the same team as mine."

Sakura had nodded, and continued following her friend, pretending to listen to whatever story she was currently telling. Chouza-san… the cuddly looking man had a name.

She wasn't sure if she should tell Ino what she thought about him… he was, after all, at least ten times her age. Her friend might think she was crazy, and never speak to her again. She valued Ino's friendship too much to ruin it over something that weird.

And so she kept it to herself, a secret crush that she keep with her to the grave. She'd outgrow it, she was sure… it must just be some childhood fantasy.

I know… this pairing is crack even by my standards… but hey, I did say I'd ship anything.

If you've taken the time to read something this weird, might as well review right?
