Oh, Glorious Revolution!

The year 2000 arrives; a new century dawns.

The people awake and rise up against the Dark Lord Voldemort. His bloody reign will end as the people declare Glorious Revolution! Once more, the people shall be free as the tyrant falls.

We have waited long enough to act. Too much evil has been dealt upon us.

Pureblood, Half-blood, Mudblood (oh, that cursed name!), Squib, Muggle, no matter.

Do we all not suffer?

Do we all not suffer under the Dark Reign?

Do we all not face the constant threat of destruction, torture, or death?

Who among us has not had someone dear to us tossed into a hopeless work camp, never to be heard from again? I have not held my own child or wife since the day his Death Eaters stormed into my home and grabbed my son for the crime of being born a Squib, and my wife for the crime of bearing him.

And who among us does not live in a state desolate poverty, barely scraping by enough to eat every day?

Yes, it we all suffer.

But now, we must all fight.

We will succeed where the Boy-Who-Died failed. After all, what is one adolescent boy compared to a million abused, angry souls?

Powerful, is the tyrant, but more powerful are we the citizens.

So hear my cry today!

I scream, "Revolution!"

We shall descend upon the tyrant in a fierce, glorious revolution.

One day, we shall be free; but today, we must fight.

Let us begin now.

Revolution!

Aadi closed her eyes. She certainly did not want to see the sickly green light that was to bet heading towards her any second now. She was uncertain as to what she could have possibly done to deserve her fate. Aadi was not a hero. In fact, she considered herself to be a coward. When the Dark Lord taken over she had kept her head down and her mouth shut. She had said nothing against their new Leader and had been careful never to indicate any dissatisfaction with the new Regimen in public. As the daughter of a Half-Blood and a Muggle-Born, her blood-status was safe enough to avoid punishment from the Blood Laws. She thought she had been doing everything right in order to survive, but yet here she was, standing for her executioner. Suddenly, anger overwhelmed her. This wasn't right. It wasn't fair. She snapped her head up and looked into her executioner's eyes. Mindful of the crowd gathered around her, Aadi screamed "Just you and your Master wait! The Glorious Revolution shall come!"

And with her final words said, Aadi almost felt content as she was embraced by the Killing Curse.

The crowd however, was anything but content. Aadi words had empowered the crowd, and her death had angered them. Before the executioner could even react, the crowd had overtaken him and delivered upon him the same fate he had given many.

Perhaps the crowd would be punished. Perhaps; but at that moment, none of them cared. Pure rage fueled them, and they wrecked destruction upon everything in their path.

The Dark Lord could only laugh as he learned of the events that had taken place within a small Magical town known as Ryder. Their attempts towards rebellion were amusing, really. Every single member of town was now a prisoner. Voldemort briefly considered just slaughtering them all. However, after a spot of torture and perhaps a few compelling potions he was certain that they would make wonderful slaves.

Voldemort's amusement lasted for most the day. That is, of course, until another messenger reported of similar events in four other towns. So great was his rage that only a black, steaming stain was left of the messenger.

So the people wanted to declare "Glorious Revolution?" Let them. Let them try and let them see the power that the Dark Lord Voldemort possesses. The people would regret trifling with their Master. They will learn, and they will learn quickly.
