The ground was cold; the air was breezing, and yet he stood on, watching the memorial stone with eyes of sorrow. The memory of past hit him hard, and tears flowed on his cheek bones down to ground. The loss had been too great for him.
Happiness is sad,
for it doesn't stay forever,
yet sorrows of past does
Why is it so?
The red cap he had once wore, now was attached to the stone, reminding of its value it held at some point for the lost friend; to whom the cold stone belonged now. It brought small smile to him, as he recalled how his friend was always keen to take it away, but later returned it.
I want to see you,
hear your voice,
to feel you
Am I too selfish feel like this?
"It's yours now," he said. He laughed once, then the strength left from him, leaving him on his knees, his head against the hard, cold stone of memorial sculpture. "Hey..." he began, grasping hard edge of the stone, seemingly trying to support himself. "Was it... painful...?"
The light faded,
the shadow came,
you disappeared
Where have you gone to?
The lips of his quivered, tear drops touched the ground. It hurt. It hurt him too much to reminisce the good times back then, when the adventure awaited for them. Now, no more that; just one place to stay, no more adventures to look for.
Can I follow you,
to places where you have gone to?
Am I allowed to?
To seek you once more,
to feel you,
to see you
Can I?
He rose up, though very unsteadily. He brushed his stained eyes, red from the grieve of his lost. "I will not forget you, old friend," he promised. The wind whistled in his ear, the sun was peeking already. Time had moved once again, and soon new day would come again.
I don't want to admit,
but we had our good times,
and bad times,
but that's just life
Is it not?
"See you later then, after all, I'm bound to meet you at certain time. But for now, I will keep moving towards new adventures." He tapped the stone and stroked it, as if it were his friend. "Sleep well, Pikachu. And good dreams too. Keep awaiting for me, for time is fast."
The light came,
the shadow gone now,
the new day is here yet again
You came back to me,
and I can see you,
feel you,
laugh with you,
to seek new adventures with you beside me;
